I came to this hotel because I was competing in the World Duathlon competition 2008 and it was our team hotel, close to the race site. I arranged to stay one extra night, one day before I left from N America thru Laterooms - it was cheaper than the team's booking rate! The hotel was relatively easy to find ( I drove from Milan airport, arriving at 3:30am after warning them that I would be this late). I had printed off a map from google maps and so knew how to find it. The single room was huge by European standards - a kingsize bed, large closet, plenty of space to store my bike and bikebox. I had a second floor room facing south - it had a large shutter operating from inside the room, to keep out light whenever you needed to. The room had a high ceiling, was clean, simply decorated with light coloured wood and navy carpet, light yellow walls - very relaxing decor. The bathroom is clean and white, small shower, but good for one person. Water temperature seemed to vary depending on the time of day. I had to ask a maid to show me how to turn on the light in the bathroom - it operated from the switch by a hair/body dryer. TV and mini fridge in room - TV had few channels: german or italian channels, and poor reception on some. A buffet Breakfast (substantial by European standards) was included in the 40euro room price - cereals, fruit, canned fruits, pastries, bread rolls, and many jams, juices, scrambled eggs, and cold meat/cheese with a grill to make panini-style sandwich. Coffee was served in small help yourself jugs, with hot milk to make cafe au lait, but one could order cappucino or espresso etc if you wanted. The main entrance to the hotel had a small bar area where one could get a coffee/tea or drink at anytime. I did not use the restaurant for any other meals, but a prix-fixed menu was available each day for lunch or dinner. The 2 hotel elevators were small. The hotel was clean, staff were very helpful and friendly - speaking English, and Italian (not sure if ot

Hotel is very central and near to beach. Rooms were clean. We stayed in a family room which had bunk beds and a double bed. en suite and balcony. Pool and sun terraces were nice. The hotel offers bike hire free of charge however we were only staying two nights and did not have an opportunity to use this. The breakfast buffet was good with plenty of choice. This was a good 3* hotel and good value for money.
