The staff were incredibly knowledgable about Ashland and very friendly. I enjoyed the size of the room and the refreshing pool and spa. My family also enjoyed the fitness facility and the eagerness of the staff to help. The staff was competent and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Ashland for the Shakespeare festival, I had an awesome vacation with my family and Windsor Inn definitely contributed. They also run a complementary shuttle to downtown, and although I found the blonde shuttle driver to be a bit too talkative and annoying, it was a bonus convenience.

We stayed for two nights and went to performances both evenings. There was a shuttle, however we chose to drive and park in a near location. The motel was clean, quiet and a pleasant experience. I don't usually sleep well in motels, but had no problems here! Didn't care for the breakfast buffet. No fresh fruit, limited yogurt choice. No "healthy" options. However, we would stay here again, and just eat breakfast out as we did while here.

Very disappointed. There was a terrible infestation of tiny little ants in the bathroom and smelly, spoiled leftover food in the fridge. To their credit, the staff removed the spoiled food upon request.

We had a lovely peaceful visit and slept well in comfortable beds. The spa and pool were quite nice. The only drawbacks were poor wifi in our rooms and the ants which invaded the bathroom by the hundreds. The management responded quickly, but the ants returned!

The location was excellent and the staff was very helpful. The rooms were not very well constructed. Thin walls! The hotel is attractive from the outside, the rooms were clean and the staff was wonderful and friendly.

A lousy, overpriced motel masquerading as a renovated, well located hotel. The rooms are dingy and strictly motel six and the service is non existent. Not that I needed any service but our toilet overflowed two days in a row, so the plumbing is suspect. The guy who trudged over to fix it never sanitized the floor, tracked dirt into the bathroom and out. Well, dirt and other stuff, as you can imagine. The worst hotel in Ashland.

Location, layout. Access to food inconvenient. Stopper in 1 sink broken, they didn't fix it & my clothes fell in & got wet! Heater was very noisy, sleep setting on remote didn't work, alarm clock located across the room from the bed.

The Windsor provided us with comfortable, clean lodging for 3 nights while we attended theater productions in Ashland. We've stayed here before and have found management accommodating and the property convenient to downtown restaurants and theaters.

Convenient location, classy Tudor design, pool, spas in some rooms. Bathroom had ants all over the place! Did not sleep well - see below... At 3:30 am the smoke detector began chirping every few minutes. I heard that sometimes, if it's very warm, the heat will make them do that. So we turned up the air conditioner. After a half hour, the detector was still chirping. We would've called the desk, but it was 4:00 by then and we didn't want to wait for someone to come by and work on the thing. So my husband climbed up on a chair and unhooked it. We went back to bed, and a few minutes later the chirping started again. He got up and put it in the bathroom and covered it up with a towel, but we could still hear it. Then he took out the battery. it STILL kept chirping! We returned it to the bathroom and went to sleep in spite of it. At 6:00 am, someone started working on their car in front of our room. He/she kept dropping tools on the concrete; there was a lot of loud talking and laughing. I know things happen and I consider myself to be a very understanding person. No problem. When we went to check out, we brought the still chirping smoke detector to the front office and told the clerk what happened and she said, "Oh? That's too bad." She then went back to her paperwork. I was surprised that she never offered me any compensation, so I asked for a discount on the room. She said she'd give me $10 off, but when she gave me the paper to sign for my credit card, she had written in the standard amount - no discount. I had to ask a second time. I'm going to check my credit card to make sure I wasn't double charged for this stay -

I needed a hotel at the last minute and was pleased to get a room at the Windsor for such a reasonable rate. Our room was very clean. We would choose upstairs next time as there was some noise from the neighbors above us. The continental breakfast could use some work, but we got food from a local store and used the in-room refrigerator.

This motel really surprised us with the size of the rooms. There was even a gas fireplace in the room. They had freee shuttle service to the Shakespeare Festival although when there are more people going than the van can hold there is an extended wait for them to come back.

We were upgraded to an extra large suite, for no extra charge. Lots of car alarms went off at night, for some reason. Newly painted exterior. Good value.

Received as many car door dents in 5 days as 10 years due to the small parking spots; take your lemon. Expansive rooms but as far from Ashland downtown as possible and still be in Ashland. A little laundry room and nice workout rooms were benefits.

Best Western Windsor inn was quiet and comfy. Extra hot hot tub in the pool area, accomadating with amenaties like towels and toothpaste, comfy rooms. But the people working check-in were fairly incompetent. That was minor thouigh, the rooms were worth it and the continental breakfast actually offered pretty good food. And there was a great steak and burger place close by for dinner. I definitely would stay here again.

The rooms and grounds were very clean and the gym had new equipment. Landscaping was very pretty with flowers and decorative railings etc. The continental breakfast was clean but my husband and son wished there were more choices of food.

Although the room was comfortable and clean and included a refrigerator which was great for leftovers, there were a few other problems we encountered. The exercise room only had one treadmill and it was not in operation. When I went to the swimming pool Sunday morning, there were no towels there.

The Best Western Windor Inn is one of the nicest motels we've stayed in in Ashland. We have been going to the Shakespeare Festival for nearly 20 years, and this was the first time we had stayed at this motel. We will definitely be staying again. The access to the hotel is directly off the freeway with plenty of parking close to all the units. The room was spacious and very clean, and they offer a shuttle to the Shakespeare Festival which is really close by. The restaurant next door has delicious food, very reasonably priced, and some of the best barbecue and homemade pies we've had anywhere. Bravo ... we give it five stars.
