I booked a non-smoking suite, but our first room had a stale smoke odor. I went to the desk after several minutes and was assigned a much better suite without the odor.

Clean and great breakfast included in price. Clean rooms & lobby area too. Free cooked to order breakfast included with price.

For the price, this place was great. It was clean, quiet, and the free hot breakfast saved us a bit of money so that we could enjoy a nice dinner. It was situated just enough off the highway so noise was not an issue. We basically used it as a base for jaunts around town. It was also nice to find somewhere decent that accepted pets; we brought our cat.

Rooms were clean, spacious, and had area info displayed, also hotel offers, the RES REP gave us the time & place free breakfast was served. We had events to attend that kept us coming in late, but the parking area was well lite...But we were riser and never got to experience the free breakfast, overall we enjoyed our stay.....

We were on a business trip and had never been to Madison. The hotel was great! We were pleasantly suprised when we walked into the room. It was very spacious and even had a mini-fridge. We checked in around midnight and the staff that greeted us was very friendly and explained everything to us. It was also a very fast check-in. I would definitely stay there again. I also liked the fitness room. We wanted to stay one more night if we could!

Well maintained, clean, and friendly. Pop and snack machines out of order or not full. We loved the location and cleanliness. It was private and quiet.

For newly remodeled rooms, they weren't very clean. When one of the beds was turned down, there was hair on the pillow--yuck!!! and the other was very wrinkled. We asked for clean sheets and they quickly obliged.

The night clerk was one of the best I have ever worked with- better breakfast than other places. Alittle older but remodeled.

Can't beat the comfortable beds and the complimentary cooked to order breakfast

New everything and a great bed. Staff was also very friendly and the free made to order breakfast was good.

The hotel staff was friendly, the location of the hotel is great, the exercise room was adequate, and the included breakfast was a great start to the day.

Helpfulness of the front desk staff. No elevator.

The location was nice for the price, we got a free room upgrade too. Room could have been a little updated in decor and lighting. Nice place to stay and not too far from downtown Madison. Near a nice mall and plenty of good restaurants around the area.

Nice location. Office staff. Very poor desk staff.
Date of Stay:
December, 2007
The beds were comfortable, people who work there are very nice, and it was close to the mall. The bathroom needed a conditioner, it only had shampoo, and it needed to be swept better. It was great! Very comfortable beds. The front desk and the cook were both very pleasant. I loved the fact that I got a complimentary breakfast. It was just my mom and I this time, but if I happen to have a larger group I will definitely think of Baymont first due to their spacious rooms and free breakfast.

Convenient and economical. Cleaning staff did not understand English well. When I eft a simple written ote it was ignored, which led me to believe the maid could not read English.
Date of Stay:
August, 2007
We liked having a couch and refrigerator available in the room. It would be nice if breakfast were available later than 9 a.m., since we are night owls. Very nice place. We'd like to stay there again on our next visit to Madison.

Clean, comfortable, convenient. Some hallways smell very smoky (cigarette). Appropriate for short-term stay where onsite amenities are not an important feature.
