All staff especially bar and waiting staff very helpful and friendly, would definitely return for another stay

No wheelchair roomsOverall our stay was enjoyable. The one black mark the hotel had and it was a big one, was that although they had access for wheelchairs throughout the hotel the bedroom did not!!

Very nice clean hotel. Very helpful at reception, very willing and pleasant. Good service in the bar. Rooms clean, everything in good working order. nice bathrooms. Only drawback was the fact that you have to pay for parking yur car

breakfastPoor breakfast . Not good value for £10. Attitude of staff at in eatng area poor and food rushed away at 10 am despite quite a few cutomers.

Every opportunity was taken to relieve you of money, for example, breakfast, not worth £10 and self service as well, and overnight parking at £5 was a bit of a rip off.

In a nice part of the city, close to a lovely restaurant. The hotel bar and food were both good quality and good value. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable - just a little cold.

I was given a room where the window faced a wall & it was depressingly dark. They claim to have parking & internet access & only on arrival you discover both are at additional costs. The floor in the room was wet & dirty to one side of the bed, where someone had obviously very recently tried to clean a nasty mess. The bed cover was dirty. I find generally the cost & quality of hotels in Belfast are more expensive & lesser quality than elsewhere in Ireland. This hotel was the worst I've stayed in this far in Belfast.

Room decor bit dated but room was clean. Was originally given a smoking room when non-smoking had been requested. Was finally given a non-smoking room after going back to reception to complain. Breakfast selection was good but not sure where the Irish breakfast was as just standard cooked breakfast items.

Do not use the restaurant since it was changed. The menu is poor and the prices are not competitive.

Hotel 15 mins away from centre.Hotel tired needs upgrading whilst we where thier heavy rain and the hotel had buckets catching leaks everywhere. Staff friendly and helpful but food very average and a wedding reception held whilst we where there and guests ended up fighting ! Very entertaining and noisy! Would not stay here again and wouldnt recommend.

Although our room was fine this was an unexceptional hotel. We found the reception staff off hand and the food at breakfast pretty poor.

easy to find and close to city, although parking needs to be paid for and no wi-fi as advertised. Bedroom was not cleaned whilst staying for 3 days and was dated with no plugs to charge phones, hairdryer also didnt work, becareful of the fact that the whole car park can see directly into your room if at rear of hotel due to no net curtains! If your checking out early morning would advise to do so night before as no one was around and had to unlock the hotel doors to let myself out! all in all a nightmare hotel for a business trip! maybe a little disgression about lone female travellers at reception wouldnt go amiss either!

The information in the room about room service was non-existent apart from the breakfast information. Would have been good for this to be more systematic. The information about relevant numbers in the hotel was also incorrect so I was pushed from kitchen, to receptionist to restuarant until I got some information about room service and what was on offer. Service was very nice when it came though! Safety catches on the windows meant there was little ventilation and apparently no automatic extraction fan in the bathroom.BTW I left what I thought anonymous review of an apartment booked thro you the previous week and received a bit of an unexpected rant by email from the owner who felt the review was unjustified. It was actually quite a favourable review - scored high in all respects apart from some small points in the Further info. Just thought I'd mention it!

This hotel is very out of date and the rooms need extensive refurbishing. the cost is ridiculous at £88, considering there is no wifi access in most of the rooms. It's only plus for me is it's proximity to QUB.

This hotel is very expensive for what it is, £120 for a basic room with no breakfast and then £5.00 for the pleasure of parking my car. I believe this hotel is up for demolition to make way for redevelopment and it is obvious that they are not investing any money into it, as the décor was tired and the staff just happy with doing the bare basics. Not a good place to stay for the money, should be priced at £40 a room for the service they provide.

The website had the hotel listed as a 4 star hotel but i felt it was more like a 3 star hotel. We were unfortunate enough to be put in a room just outside a busy nightclub so it was very noisy. The restaurant closed at 9.00pm which is a bit inconvenient as we only arrived down to have our meal at 9.00pm. YOu can however eat in the lobby of the hotel

Very old dated rooms, despite the nice exterior lobby. The Holiday Inn Express is much nicer for half the price.

the hotel was quite central (10mins walk from city centre). it was very busy but relaxed. The hotel room allocated faced onto the bin area and the boilr house was next door, however this did not detract from the room appearance. What we didnt like was that we could smell smoke and thought that the room had housed smokers, but we later realised that we were directly above the smoking area.

We had to change rooms due to the fact that when we arrived the room had clearly not been cleaned. the male receptionist was not very pleasant either. will not be back.

I used this hotel 18 months ago and wasn't to pleased then with the room given, the decor was tired, and the room very cramped for 2 people. I gave the hotel the benefit of the doubt, as I needed to be in the same area for a couple of business meetings. The room this time was on a different floor, but matched the previous roon I had in decor and low standard. The temperature in the room was an overpowering 26 degrees celcius through the nightg at the lowest, this was with the radiators turned off, windows fully open (despite the noise from a night club down the road) and the outside temp of around 9 degrees. When I mentioned this at reception next morning I was informed many guests complain about the temp. The heat must be coming from somewhere, why can't they sort it out.All in all very disappointed for a hotel that normally charges £100 plus per night, only good point was booking it through Laterooms - I didn't pay full price. I am a Best Western Gold card holder and still cannot get anywhere near to your prices direct.
