This was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The people at the front desk were very nice, rooms were very clean. I felt right at home the whole time we were there. The only thing my group had to complain about while staying, was that they do NOT allow smoking in any of the rooms. I don't smoke but I know alot of people who do and I feel that they should be able to stay in a nice hotel room and be able to relax and have a smoke,and not have to walk all the way outside to have a smoke, even if it means paying a little extra to stay there. But this hotel doesn't have that option at all.

We stayed here based on an associate's recommendation, and it was the best night's sleep I'd had in weeks! This hotel had only been open a few months at the beginning of November and everything was crisp and new, and spotless. My room was spacious, with a great work center, free high speed wireless internet that truly was high speed, a mini fridge and microwave, large bathroom, and a wonderful bed. There was coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day. The pool is small, but has a nice covered seating area, if you don't want sun. The continental breakfast was great, varied, hot. The best part about this place, though, is the people. It's family-friendly. If you are in and out at different times of the day, you may get to meet the whole family, and they are all super friendly and polite, but they understand if you just want to go lock yourself in your room and sleep. This place is a true pleasure.

My son was on a team that qualified for a national baseball tournament in Alabama. The team booked rooms for players and families at this hotel. I cannot say enough good things about the hotel and how we were treated. The hotel is new so everything was very clean. The rooms were very large compared to other similar hotels. The high speed internet was really high speed and dependable. The free continental breakfast was better than one you have to pay for at many hotels. Most of all, the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure our whole group felt welcome. This is a great place to stay if you are in this area of Alabama.
