Hotel staff was nice. It is just a few block from the hospital and that is why we stayed there.

It's a fun and stylish hotel smack in the middle of Japan Town. The staff is helpful and polite. The only thing I didn't like was the hard down pillows. Other than that, it's a wonderful stay. Be warned that their parking garage is very small, so you will most likely have to use another one nearby; which works out better since it's cheaper. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice, modern hotel, cool atr work painted onto the walls. Japantown is a bit far out of the main city and tourist areas but worth a visit and it's on main bus route and walking distance (about 25 mins) from union square. We added another night onto our 2 night stay and the lady didn't update our room cards properly so they stopped working - when we went to the desk there was no appology and was a little disappointed by the general attitude of the desk staff.

The newly remodeled Hotel exceeded our expectations. The room design was cool like visually and design cool. But the bed was great, and the down comforters stashed in the chest of drawers was a nice touch.

First of all there is no Parking. THey do have a garage but it was FULL every day. THere is not even on street parking. Do not attempt to go out after dark- the hotel front desk gave us the "safest route" since we had to park our car 3 blocks away for the bargain prce of 15.00. The water in the shower would not ever get hot- they saw no problem in our room. The front desk staff was rude at best. THe room was clean but very modern. Not a bad place if you don't mind entir walls of a cartoon mural. The room was yellow- a very bright yellow and the elevator doors didn't open all the way. Stay away from the TOMO- far away.

The Best Western Tomo Hotel San Francisco is misrepresented on your map. While it may be on the extreme edge of cathedral hill it is actually located in Japan town. It is far from the center and hard to get to using public transit.

I found the linens to be abrasive and the lighting and bathroom to be dingy and gloomy. Need to remodel the shower/ toilet area and replace beds. I was budgeting because I was in the city for a wedding and knew it was just a one night stay. Would splurge on another hotel if I stayed in San Francisco again.

The Best Western Miyako Inn is located in the Japan town section of San Francisco. The area is clean and quiet with a Japanese market on the corner and easy access to public transportation. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Just avoid the Mums restaurant attached to the hotel. My eggs tasted like a dirty dish rag.

I continue to be impressed with the staff, the fact that the place is phenomenally clean, well positioned, near to services and bus lines, and the people I have encountered there staff and guests alike are the soul of courtesy. Professional and personable. A winner. Hurray for this place a thousand times.

I was impressed with the startling cleanliness and order of the hotel as well as the consistently genuine courtesy of the staff and management. Great room capacious and clean and comfortable. Very welcoming and functional lobby phones, internet, places to relax. Comprehensively excellent hotel as good as any hotel I have ever stayed at.

The Best Western Miyako Inn in San Francisco is below average in its hospitality, service, and amenites. Front desk clerks and housekeepers were unhelpful, the TV got about 10 channels in very bad reception, and the entire hotel needs a complete makeover.

The hotel is a solid two star hotel. The hotel is conveniently located near a MUNI bus stop. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. My only major complaint about the room was the level of cleanliness upon check in, dust bunnies were located in the bathroom and there were obvious stains in the carpeting. Staff were generally good. I would stay at the Best Western Tomo Hotel San Francisco again. All the hotels in the city were booked due to a golf tournament event in the city.

everything around the hotel is japanese so be prepared to walk to anything else. i would not stay here again.
