Great hotel, good experience. The Gentleman at the front desk insisted to run my card again and now I have to dispute the charge because I paid Cheaptickets and the hotel twice. Please send me confirmatin that you paid the hotel.

Very good and helpful reception staff. Good location. Good breakfast. Nice rooms but AC not working (early April). Expensive restaurants, sauna and gym paid extra. In summary very good place to stay but a little overpriced.

Absolutely delightful - the ""President"" has a wonderful staff who will anticipate your every need.Gorgeous view from the terraces over the city , the sea with its numerous shpis emerging from the mist each morning, waiting to pass through the Bosphorus, the islands . And the BREAKFAST BUFFET where one day I will eat myself into a coma - with its many breads and rolls, meats, cheeses, pastries, fruits, cereals, hot entrees - and not to forget the honeycombs.I spend 2 hours there each morning, eating, having coffee, and delighting in the beautiful scenery. Can't wait to get back.

Having spent 3 nights at the Marmara (a five star hotel) and moving to the Best Western The President hote for our final night (as we wanted to be closer to the old city to see the sights with our 2&1/2 month old baby) we were pleasantly surprised with the qualityof the President in comparison with the Marmara. Thay had already organised a cot for the baby prior to our arrival (the Mrmara never provided us with one) and everything looked nice and new when we got to the room. We ony stayed one night however and left early so cannot comment much on the quality of dining as we never ate at the hotel. The service was however excellent everything we requested was delivered to us within minutes. The hotel was within walking distance of most of the attractions of the old city and we would definately use it again.

I highly recommend President Hotel to anyone willing to rest in Turkey!

This hotel is situated in a very busy "business" district, with emphasis on traveling bags and suitcases, not far from the bazaar and sightseeing places. Personally I would have preferred a hotel in a quieter district. A hotel in this class should have wireless connection in each room, but they had an acceptable business center.

Great location the room was not what we booked but the staff moved us after the first night and everything was great after that. The roof top bar is to die for!!!

The hotel has all of the facilities for tourists & businessmen alike, from a sun deck and (small) circular swimming pool (Would be described as alarge hot tub in the USA I suspect!), to the 'business centre' and the really excellent 'front desk' support staff who could not be more helpful. DO HAVE at least one dinner on the 7th floor Roof Terrace with great views and superb ambiance, and DO USE the Health Club with a gym,spa & massages readily available. The hotel seems to attract many Spanish speaking tourists but English spoken throughout. Large indoor breakfast restaurant with a great variety available. Laundry service was very efficient, clean & well ironed. Only real criticism is that the general staff need just that little extra training in how to deal with customers. Some were obviously surly for no particular reason while others seemed to be very keen to serve but just didn't know how. So 90% OK with 10% need to improve.

Perfect location. Most of the attractions and the tram are within walking distance. Good size clean rooms with excellent & friendly service. The view off the terrace is breath taking.

As we asked for a quite room, we have been given room looking on the street that seemed quite, but every night from 2 to 3 AM big garbidge truck and few workers worked hard and loud in selecting and loading garbidge, sweeping, etc. Excellent location, good service.

Excellent modern hotel in the heart of the historical centre of Istanbul. Two minutes walk to the Beyazit tram station. Staff very friendly, helpful and efficient. Rooftop swimming pool, sundeck and roof top open air restaurant are especially nice features. Would highly recommend.
