This was a beautiful hotel and so convenient. Stair in lobby to our room on the same floor are awkward and a bother. Lovely pool area. Professional, helpful staff.

Nice hotel on Sunset stripDecent rooms, nice pool area, rooms clean. Good cold buffet breakfast, food nice and fresh. Only downside, could hear people in room above walking around etc.. creaky floorboards. All in all relatively quiet hotel, clean and in a good location on Sunset strip.

The room was very nicely decorated and clean. Absolutely loved the pool area. Location was close to the tourist areas - short drive to Walk of Fame, Grumman's Chinese Theater etc.

Great location easy walking distance from the Sunset Strip and places to eat. Good breakfast included. Hotel was somewhat old but was comfortable. Good pool setting which was also a great place to relax after sightseeing for the day. Although our room faced Sunset Boulevard the noise from the outside traffics wasn't a problem.

This was our 3rd trip to LA in about 5 months. Stayed here the 1st time and the 3rd time. We LOVE it! Quiet enough from all the downtown but close enough to drive within 5 mins to Hollywood and walk around. Good area, lots of places to eat, close to Rodeo drive, Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Kids stayed in the hotel swimming all day. Big, nice suite, 2 TV's, big bathroom, comfy beds, clean rooms!

I was especially impressed with the friendliness of ALL staff. I could not have wanted more. Every aspect was excellent: cleanliness, room facility, convenience to everything that we needed, pool was wonderful and carefully cared for beautiful flowers all around. Overall experience surpassed our expectations.

It was a very nice hotel in a super excelent location. Once you walk inside it is a differnt feel from the busy sunset drive. Very unique set up of all the floors. Would definetly stay there again.

Beautiful room, lovely landscaped grounds and nice staff. The decor of the room was lovely and the courtyard was magnificent with the mature landscaping. Lovely experience.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was quite nice, but the hotel itself is very attractive, especially the landscaping around the pool area. We only stayed one night, and I'd definitely go back, hopefully when we can stay longer. The breakfast was the only thing that was mediocre, but I guess you shouldn't expect too much when it's included in the price. Be aware they charge for parking, but they do have a covered garage.

This hotel was great. We got in around midnight. They were very accomodating. We had a mix up with a room that was already taken but the staff quickly moved us to an even better room. The beds were the best! The bathroom had a jetted tub and seperate shower. We will definately stay here again!

This hotel is so beautiful. I have been staying here when I am in town for several years, and it just gets better every time! It can be expensive at times, but we got a great deal at just under $200.00. Very, very clean. Gorgeous amenities, and the pool area is amazing, with lush flowers everywhere you look. Quiet and relaxing! You would never believe you are on Sunset. I will always stay here when in town!

Nice rooms andconvenient location on Sunset Strip. Parking expensive, congested area of city. This is a nice hotel in the heart of LA on the Sunset Strip. It has no bar or restaurant, but is a short walk to several hip, high-end hotels that do, such as The Standard, The Argyle and The Chateau Marmont. The room was clean, large and sunny, had complimentary breakfast. My 4 year old daughter enjoyed the pool, which was convenient to the room and nearly empty. Despite the central LA location, the room was very quiet.

Their beds were amazingly comfortable. Also, they were loaded with huge, fluffy pillows. It seemed a bit pricey but that is probably typical for such comfort in a great location. Pros: COMFORTABLE bed/pillows/duvet; excellent location; "continental" breakfast features an excellent selection of pastries, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, & more--much better than I anticipated; convenient parking [reasonably priced]; plasma TV; clean/beautiful pool & courtyard [especially if you like flowers]; friendly/courteous/helpful staff; fitness room [website says they don't have one, but they did] Cons: Website listed they had DVD/VHS players available, but when I asked at the desk they did not. They did say they would change it on the website. I was overcharged for parking, but when I showed them my confirmation letter listing the lower rate, they adjusted my bill--but only for one day. They probably would have fixed the other days, but since the difference was only $4 I didn't bother. We were on the same floor as the lobby and to get to our room we had to go up a few steps, turn the corner, and then go down more steps. Inconvenient and annoying but not a big deal. Additional Notes: I was there with my husband for a romantic getaway. We didn't see any kids, which was wonderful. You'll notice abundant street parking available behind the hotel. What you might not notice are the signs requiring a permit. DO NOT park on that street or you will get towed. We paid for hotel parking. I doubt it would be easy/convenient/safe to find free parking, but we did not try. If you're on a tight budget, pay for parking the first night and then look around for better options the next day.

What a wonderful property. The newly remodedled hotel is beautiful. For the quality of service, pool area and rooms it is a value. Wonderful smaller property.

Visited Hollywood on Oscars weekend. THE party of the night was right next door so we saw plenty of stars going in and out. Wonderfully convenient location with outstanding restaurants nearby. Very helpful staff. The only minor complaint is that while the continental breakfast had lots of lovely, fresh pastries, there were few "healthy" options.

Location. Room was loud, hear the people from room above. Nice located hotel, with good connections in LA. Nice small pool. Breakfast included, was okay. Rooms too loud.

This is our favorite hotel and we always stay here when we visit Hollywood/LA. The rooms are large and comfortable, the staff friendly, the complimentary breakfast good, and the location can't be beat. Best of all, the rooms surround a beautiful pool and courtyard with geraniums and bouganvillea vines spilling from the balconies."

This Hotel is great. The location is perfect for travelling in and out of LA and Hollywood. We arrrived to find a great room tucked away in a corner but poolside. The staff was very gracious and the location is superb.Best Western Sunset Plaza is located in the heart of Hollywood blocks away from the Kodak, Walk of Fame etc. The hotel provides a great daily breakfast room which helps to get you started each morning for sightseeing. Many facilities are located in this hotel such as a gorgeous pool, excercice room, laundromat and garage. The room sparkled clean and allowed us to have complete peace and quiet each time we returned. Check in and check out was a breeze. The hotel does charge $11.00 each day for parking but is well worth it because the traffic police are very stict in this area of Hollywood. arking on the street can be very difficult especially on weekends. If we had to rate the Hotel in 1-10 scale it would definitely be a 10. This is one trip we took that did not have any problems for a change and the hotel was an integral part of that. My recommendation is to stay and enjoy the superb location and great hotel amenities provided. We cannot wait to return again soon.

Great, central West Hollywood location, clean and comfortable. No personnel monitoring the parking structure. As two young adult female travelers we didn't feel 100% safe in the parking structure. Easy check-in. Great location - minutes drive/walk to Hollywood must-see sites - Sunset Plaza, Hollywood Blvd, The Grove, Beverly Hills. Parking garage structures not clearly marked; also, located off a side street behind the building and structures not secure - didn't feel very safe parking car and walking into building. Elevators were slow, better off walking the stairs. Despite the minor inconveniences, The Best Western Sunset Plaza's price, location, cleanliness and comfort are unbeatable in my opinion.

The Best Western Sunset Plaza is conveniently located for visiting Hollywood and Los Angeles sites. Our room was very comfortable, nicely appointed, and very clean. Parking is convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is that some of the pool furniture is old, rundown and in need of repair or replacing. We stayed at this hotel because it was close to relatives we were visiting. We would definitely stay there again.
