Hotel was what I expected and the staff was really helpful. Nothing really. The hotel was nice, clean and had a good contenental breakfast. One of the people in our party was injured and the Manager and staff werevery helpful. She also moved us to a bottom floor room for our convienence. (Without us having to ask.) I would recomend this hotel.

I stayed at the Stovall Inn on Oct 10-11, 2008 with my two teenage daughters and had a very nice time. Rooms were very clean and updated. The restaurants (Tiffy's Family Rest and Coco's Rest) located very close to the hotel provided nice dinners for us. The continental breakfast could have been better. While they offered danish, donuts, toast, a few cereals and beverages (juices, coffee, hot choc) we do like the hotels which offer a wider assortment like hot waffles, scrambled eggs, etc. The walk from the hotel to Disney was about 10 minutes or so, but we actually enjoyed it. As soon as you cross Katella Ave you can tell you are in the Parks area. The streets, shrubs, flowers, etc are all so nicely taken care of that we thought it was a nice pleasant walk to get to the parks. You walk by Disney Paradise Pier Hotel and can stop by it to get cute photos with several figures sculptured into the shrubs (Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, etc). We also enjoyed the swimming pool area. The animal sculptures BW made in the shrubs in the pool area were nice. They have two large swimming pools and 2 hot tubs. Our first night there we watched the Disney fireworks show while hanging out in one of the hot tubs. Very relaxing way to end the day. While some of the other hotels on Harbor Blvd (Ramada Inn Main Gate) might be closer and just across the street from the Disney entrance, we liked the BW because we thought the traffic on Katella Ave was not as much as Harbor. Front desk personnel were very pleasant and took care of our needs. The store in the lobby also was nice (ice cream treats, etc). Overall, Nice Time.

Bring ear plugs. For the price, it was nice. When we first got there, I didn't notice how noisy the a/c was... My ears must've been ringing from the 6 hour drive. I've learned to always carry a bunch of ear plugs... 30+ reduction type that goes into your ears. All hotels have noise. Put it on and I couldn't hear anything except for a very slight whine from the a/c. The next morning I realized how noisy the a/c was. I thought maybe I should've asked for a different room but I didn't want to go through the process. Good thing was that the a/c covered up all the outside noises. Upon checkout, I thought I'd do them a favor and tell the clerk at the desk about the a/c. Wnen I did, he gave me this distant "yeah, I heard that before" look... like they hear that complaint all the time. I didn't have a decibel (noise) meter but I bet the noise was near the 'damaging' level. Something to be concerned about with young kids. Bad enough for adults. But they'll blow their ear drums out with their iPods anyway. The a/c was a 220 volt Goldstar... big one. I was thinking it was the brand but my old Kenmore a/c was probably twice as noisy. Bring ear plugs. But a decent motel! I'd stay there again.. but with my ear plugs. Kleenex or toilet tissue would work but only half as effective and they tend to fall out.

I have stayed at the Best Western Stovall many times before. Every time, there seems to be some small detail that is missed by the maintainance staff. It may be a burned out lamp light or, in the case of this last visit, the hot water which suddenly runs out while taking a shower. I used to stay at this establishment because of its close proximity to Disneyland and its great value. I had recommended this place as an inexpensive alternative to families attending a religious conference at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Motel is undergoing renovation and looks to be completed by 10/2009. Our room seemed 90% renovated except for the LOUD air conditioner which was the worst part. Overall room clean, bathroom shower beautifully done and water drained perfectly; bathroom vanity stretches width of room and accommodates lots of "stuff"; beds comfortable and firm; large TV easy to watch from both beds; plenty of room. The office staff is friendly and even let us use their computer to print our boarding passes when the printer of the lobby PC didn't print. NO CHARGE for using the printer, contrary to earlier reviewer's remarks. They also adjusted our room rate down to match the current rate which was less than what we originally booked at. The continental breakfast was a little sparse compared to our prior motel, but ample to get you started. Also located next to Coco's restaurant which serves excellent food (head chef trained at CIA and worked at Ritz Carlton and Waldorf Astoria) & freshly made pies and which is a greal alternative to the Disneyland fast foods. The location is very convenient to the California Adventure Park thru which you must walk to reach Disneyland from this location--maybe 10 minute walk. Rest of family stayed at Disneyland Paradise Pier Hotel which was just across the street and a 5-minute walk under a tree arbor--very nice and easy access.

Very noisy hotel on a busy street. Walls are paper thin and rooms are a bit dated. Price was good, but looks like you get what you pay for. Not as close to Disneyland main gate as it seems. Expect to take a shuttle there. Won't be staying there again.

The Best Western Stovall is a very nice hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We also were within 1 block of Disneyland. We easily could have walked, but the Anaheim Resort Transit bus picked us up right in front. There were restaurants close by. The hotel serves a nice continental breakfast, but you do need to get there early! They said breakfast was served until 9:30, but if you were not there by 8:30 you could pretty much forget about selection.

Staff very accomodating. Gave us a map to all our favorite restaurants!! Minutes from Disney! Saw the fireworks from our room door. Beds were excellent. Had to relocate rooms due to air not working but it happens! Pools were nice, liberal hours! A Coco's restaurant in front : an ice cream restaurant across the street. Cadycorner to the Disney Park maybe a 15 min walk! Fridge, iron, hair dryer, and coffee maker. Beautiful location! Overall experience was excellent!!

Had to stay here because I was travelling with a group of people. It was the noisiest motel I ever stayed in. The air conditioner is loud, the walls are thin and you can hear everyone walking on the landing outside the doors. The room apeared clean but I don't think it was because I got itchy bumps on my ankels that looked like bites that went away after I left there. Coincidence? maybe. The bathroom was gross. the tub is peeling, there is black mold on ceiling, dirt in the corners and tiny orange bugs crawling on the toilet. The front desk staff was very nice and accomodating. The kids enjoyed the pool area and it seemed clean. I was disappointed that they charge 69 cents a minute to use their computer though. That seems a little ridiculous to me. It isn't that close to the park either. about a 15 minute walk and with tired kids at night it isn't fun. I would stay on s. harbor blvd next time, the hotels were alot closer.

I have stayed in Anaheim a few time to visit Disney Land and had always wanted to stay at this hotel well to my great suprise it sucked, there was construction going onright out side my door,NO parking, the staff was neither good nor bad. would never stay at this over priced hotel again. there is aplace two over from it for a hundred bucks cheaper the room arent all that great but i was happier there!!!!!!

This is an older hotel and perhaps the nosiest one I have ever stayed at. Don?t go here if you want to sleep, the walls are paper thin. In our room the bathroom vanity wasn?t fastened to the wall and it fell off in the middle of the night. The beds were comfortable, but that provided little solace given the surroundings. The breakfast room was too small to handle number of guests and the food choices were nothing special. The hotel was offering a $ gas card with three night stay and when I checked out they didnt want to hand it over. I had to get the manager involved to receive my gas card. The only thing that makes this hotel attractive is the location to Disney and the Anaheim Resort Transit stop.

I like the fact that the hotel was close to Disneyland. It was in walking distance so we didn't have to pay for parking. I also like how I was able to check in earlier than the normal check in time. The price was decent for the location of the hotel beng right across the way from California Adevnture. I would definetly stay here again and I recommend it to others.

Have stayed here before. Beds comfortable. Lots of towels, nice sized room. The Tiffys restaurant across the street is fantastic. Easy walking to Disney through nice walk way.Staff helpful and check in quick and easy. A continental breakfast with cereals, doughnuts and drinks are available and easy to bring back to your room since there is a table in the room itself. We will stay here again.

When we got home we realized that we left our Granddaughters dress, shoes, sweater and head band in the room. I called the hotel and told them what room we were in. They had already found them, I asked if they could ship them to us. They asked for a credit card number to cover shipping and said they would send. I received the items in a couple of days and they didn't charge me for the shipping. They were extremely cooperative. We wouldn't stay in any other motel in the area since this one is soooo good.

Overall the hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast is toast, pastries, fruit, hard-boiled eggs and coffee/juice. The hot tub was closed for two days because a light was out in the pool area. My roommate walked past the front desk in her bathing suit and nothing was said to her... There was a shower cap and some other sanitary items left over from the people who were there before us, ew. Make sure to get a room away from the street as it can be noisy with traffic and kids. We ended up getting a second room and it was much better, cleaner and quieter. Location was about a 10 minute walk from downtown disney. Business center is clean but only room for one person, the computer was not working when I went and the internet usage is at a fee. Bring your laptop instead. There were many restaurants close by.

My 3 night stay at the Best Western Stovall's Inn was a pleasure and I will definitely recommend it to friends and stay there again myself on my next visit to Anaheim based on the quiet location, comfy bed, adequate continental breakfast and 2 pools and spas.

The Best Western Stovall was very confortable, the room was big and spacy. We all enjoyed our stay there. Check in was a piece of cake. I will definately stay there again when we visit California.

The hotel was close to disneyland but would advise taking the shuttle as it was a good 15 minute walk each day.It is actually a motel but the accomadations were fine because we spent little time in our room. The continental breakfast was ok but it would have been nice if they changed the menu because they had the exact same thing everyday and we were there 5 days.Tiffys restaurant across the street had a good dinner.Pool was nice and clean.
