The location was convenient, the staff was polite, kids loved bowling! The bathroom needs updating and the roll away bed was not ready when we arrived altho I had called ahead. Friendly staff, family-friendly, convenient access to Grand Canyon and airport. Complimentary breakfast was better than a typical continental breakfast, a good value for families on a budget.

Best overall facilities of any hotel near the entrance to the S. Rim of the Grand Canyon. Carpets and decor seemed to be from 1990s. Not horrible but certainly not new. Best Western Squire is the best option for a family who is not staying in the Grand Canyon National Park itself. It is very close to the Park's entrance and has the best facilities among the hotel options just outside the S. Rim entrance. The complimentary continental breakfast is among the better free breakfast fare I've encountered and features a large buffet with eggs, waffles, cereals, fruits, juices and coffees, oatmeal, etc.. The restaurant is not half bad either and is reasonably priced. Many amenities are family-focused including a large gaming area featuring a real bowling alley. I did not use the pool or hot tub, but it looked inviting enough. But not so inviting as to keep me from the Park itself, which is just a few minutes down the road. I guess the only downside is that kids might want to stay at the hotel to play when the parents want to get out to the Park.

The grounds were well kept. The room was filthy. My 1 year old son's knees were black after 10 minutes of crawling. This hotel did not meet my expectations of a Best Western. The grounds were well manicured and there was a lot to do there (game room, bowling alley, pool, etc), but the rooms were really dirty. We were also only given two towels for three people, and they were thin, at that. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good a nice combination of hot, cold foods, we did eat in the restaurant one night and were very pleased with it (we were able to order off the early bird menu because we were there around 5:30, so the meals were reasonably priced. I can't say at the regular menu prices the food would've been worth it).

Convenient location to the Grand Canyon, beautiful scenery, friendly staff. We had no cell phone service and the buffet restaurant was extremely overpriced for the quality of food serviced. Overall the hotel was great. We had no cell phone service which was an inconvenience and the buffet restaurant was not that great and overpriced. The hotel has a great arcade room with a bowling alley for kids which kept our older kids entertained.

Afun place for a family. My room it was by an outside door people would go outside to smoke and after the bar would close they would take the party outside, there was very loud. If you want rest.everything.

Clean rooms. Continental breakfast was a joke in comparison to other best western hotels. The food that was suppose to be warm was cold and the extras such as the muffins were dry and not tasteful. Pool was closed even though it was a heated pool. Airport next to the hotel which gave you the exhaust from the planes, to do any of the extra amenities such as games, pool or bowling it cost extra. Jacuzzi could fit only five or six people. This is not a Best Western I would recommend to friends and family, this has been the worst one that I have ever went to.

Close to bar and restaurant. Dull rooms. Close to the Grand Canyon with shuttle service nearby. Average restaurants. Helpful staff.

I loved the large room and the attractiveness of the facility. The spa was inferior to the rest of the hotel. We stayed at this hotel because there were no openings at the Grand Canyon. Upon seeing the hotel we wished we could stay even longer. After our stay we knew we would come back if we visit the Grand Canyon again. We found the hotel attractive, clean and the staff friendly and accommodating.

My kids liked the public game rooms/bowling alley. Vending machines were not convenient. The room was spacious, clean & comfortable. It's location was convenient for our visit to the Grand Canyon. I would stay there again if I returned. My kids especially enjoyed the bowling alley.

Spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was leaking and they could not move us to another room. Loved it! Will be coming back this summer.

The onsite family fun center was convenient. There were no elevators to rooms above the first floor. We stayed at this hotel because it was very convenient to the grand canyon and it met our needs for those purposes. We had a handicapped person in our party, so having to go to separate buildings to use the hot tub or the family fun center or restaurants wasn't as convenient as it could have been. Also, there weren't any elevators in the building that our room was in, so we had to carry our luggage up a set of stairs. I wouldn't have expected that in a hotel that offered as many onsite amenities as this one had. There also didn't seem to be enough handicapped parking per building. There was only one space in front of our building that I could see, and it was already taken.
