Fantastic Hotel and Excellent Value for MoneyWe stayed here at the end of June. Our room was lovely, spacious and spotless. The staff were very friendly and extremly efficient. Although the hotel was outside the city centre the luas stopped right beside it and we were in the city center within 15mins. The leisure centre was great and free for guests. Would definately stay again.

Don't be misled by the pool as advertised - it is next door in a separate facility. Other than a very friendly bartender and one of the desk clerks hospitality was not great. Location is good for light rail service into Dublin. Would recommend limited stay here, find B&Bs instead where owners take pride in their business.

The restaurant was fantastic. The food was gorgeous and in very large portions. Also the selection of food was very good

The hotel is a little out of the way but the staff and accomodations are worth the extra travel time. The food from the restaurant is excellent and the service was really great. I can not say enough good things about the people in this hotel.

The receptionist was very friendly. Room service was excellent! The pool was huge and it was very easy to get a spot in the pool. It exceeded my standards!!

Reception desk was a bit unprofessional. We booked for 2 nights but the paperwork only had 1 night on it with my confirmation email attached stating 2 nights. Room key cards didn't work and replacements were supposed to be pushed under the door. This never happened. Was a bit noisy as room was opposite an office and the staff didn't seem to realise how noisy they were first thing in the morning. Lovely hotel the staff just need to be a bit more on the ball.

This hotel was very easy to access by public transportaion from the airport. The staff were very helpful, the room was spacious, clean and very welcoming. The amenities were more than appropriate for family and business travelers. I would recommend this hotel to others and I plan to return to this hotel again on my next trip to the area.

Nice hotel, not far from the tram stop. The breakfast was pricy but nice. Rooms are very comfortable. Staff was great

The hotel itself is fine. The area is a mix of industrial estate and houses-our room overlooked the back of a factory.Having said that the room was quiet. We did not want to stay in the city itself as so many reviews mentioned noisy drunks throughout the night. I would advise having a car or taxi to get there. The tram is very good and stops about 1/4 mile away and goes into the city centre. The room was clean. We had two beds-having asked for a double room we had a single and a small double bed. The bar was souless on the Friday night we ate there. The bar food was OK but nothing special. The hotel has a pool but when we read the info in the room it said everyone had to wear a hat-not in the brochure pics, of course! The hats could be bought for €3. As it was we did not have time to go for a swim.We paid €75 a night for RO which seemed quite reasonable compared with other hotels. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

I had a lovely stay here this weekend with my family. Food was lovely, staff were friendly. BUT, older person had 'disability' difficulties with having no walk-in shower only a bath, when i enquired about holding a room with disability facilities, it was fine according to person on other end of phone when we arrived, we discovered the only disability access was in the hotel not in the rooms??? Figure that one out??? Also, the music in bar on saturday and sunday nights was good but VERY LOUD, enjoyable but if looking forward to an early night or just plain ol' relaxing in room, you will hear the music in the background, i would stay here again, but next time i would request a room on a florr not over the bar. The reception area has an open stairway and the noise travels upwards quicker and easier. These were the 2 things that i wasnt pleased about, but overall it was a lovely stay, food very nice, fresh, open and airy hotel with good parking facilities and friendly staff. I will stay there again.

The hotel was very nice and good value for money however we did have complaints. The shower didn't work and we weren't moved to another room when we complained about it. We went for a meal in the bar to be served lukewarm food, we complained to the waiting staff and the restuarant manager to be told sorry but weren't offered a replacement and we were charged full price for the cold meal. We felt that the meal should have been replaced or not charged for it, customer service needs addressing. We would stay there again but next time insist on being moved if the room isn't up to standard and maybe eat elsewhere.

My review would have been very positive as the room was lovely. However, I had a generator switching on and off all night next to my room, which made it almost imposible to sleep.

Location a little way out of the city centre was reflected in the price, but it was an easy tram ride to the main sites. Room OK, but breakfast was a disappointment, so we went into town most days as there are plenty of places selling an excellent range of food and drink for breakfast, lunch and all stops in between. If you're really very desperate, there's a McDonalds nearby. Dublin is brilliant - try it!

I stayed for two nights at the Sheldon Park Hotel with my partner at the end of March. We can not fault a thing about the hotel. The room was comfortable and very spacious. We largely chose the hotel due to the leisure facilities that it offers and we were not disappointed. The carvery lunch available is deffinately worth a try! The location of the hotel is great as it is away from all the hassle of the city, however it's easy to hop on the Luas which runs evey ten minutes or so from the end of the road. If visiting Dublin again, and I'm sure we will be we would deffinately stay again.

Great value for money, superb breakfast. Slightly out of city but on bus route and the LUAS is 2 minutes walk away. Nice bar as well.

The hotel was fairly straightforward in terms of finding the place. We got the tram/bus to and from airport. 15 min tram ride into city centre The rooms were clean. Just found the place dreary, leisure facilities were dark, unclean. Reception staff were not helpful, told us incorrect times for breakfast, didnt know where the rooms were (as new staff) so when asked to be put in quieter area, we were placed in noisy room. Carvery on sunday was overpriced and drab.

Plates were cold for dinner and breakfast, eggs like rubber. Extractor fan not working in bathroom. Handy for LUAS tram system.

Staff were polite.Room was clean and a good size.Leisure Club had excellent facilities.Location of hotel was quite far from the airport (20-30mins). Hotel was close to the red tram line (15-20 mins to city centre) and very convenient to get into the city if you don't have your own transport. Breakfast was good.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful around the clock. The bar and restaurant had a warm and lively amosphere and is somewhere that is used by the local's at the weekend as well. The food was of a good standard as was the service. The leisure centre was impressive and we enjoyed our time there. The staff at the centre were also welcoming. Children were also allowed, but had restricted access. They also had a beauty salon offering a wide variety of treatments. The hotel was located about 15/20mins away from the City Centre, by tram. The tram stop was roughly a 5min walk from the hotel. We would definately stay at the Sheldon Park Hotel and Leisure Club again and have already recommended it to our friends.
