Not bad. right across the street from the beach, and a short drive from downtown. The staff was great.

The closeness to the beach and activities. The continental breakfast. The hotel was across from the beach. The hotel staff (maids) were fabulous. They were extremely polite and very friendly.

I spent a few days here and I was totally happy with my choice , the room was clean, modern, very comfortable. The hotel itself was well kept, lovely grounds, pool, short walk across the street to the beach, staff, so helpful and friendly. If traveling back or through St Augustine again this will be my hotel of choice.

We traveled to St. Augustine for the first time this past. The Days Inn at the beach suited us perfectly. It was very reasonable, the staff and guests were very friendly, the pool was small but big enough for the guests there. The continental breakfast was great and the internet service was great as well. The BEACH was fabulous, just a very short walk across the street. We took our beach "wonder wheeler" which was great for hauling four beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, etc. to the beach. The hotel is within very easy driving distance of the historic area as well as shopping! Love Bealls!!! We had a great time at the Days Inn and at the beach and can't wait to return. We'll stay at the Days Inn St. Augustine Beach again, hopefully sometime soon !!

This hotel was really nice and clean. The staff was very friendly, and the beds were awesome. The only negatives would be the breakfast was not great (just bagels, fruit, cereal) and sometimes the internet would not work in the room. Other than that everything was great. Also, the beach is right across the street and right across from public access to the beach. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend staying at this hotel.

The pool was nice. The sink did not drain. Moldy wallpaper. This was a nice hotel for our family. They were in the midst of a remodel and the pool was clearly not heated as it was 90 degrees outside and the pool was about 60. But it was clean and bug free. Anywhere in FL that's a bonus.

Everything as seen and described. The room and beds were clean. We requested an upstairs room and recieved one with no problems. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again. Only suggestion is on breakfast items would have enjoyed bananas and coffee was harsh.

This was not a horrible stay, but it definitely is not for a romantic getaway. My husband and I went to the hot tub on Saturday night, but besides only 2 jets working the water was luke warm. There were young children "cannon balling" in the pool (very close) and this was around 9:30pm. The parking is very difficult, especially if you stay on the backside. We had to park out in front of the main office. People were jocking to get spaces. The beach is directly across the road and not on the beach itself. The staff are friendly. The breakfast very basic.

Close proximity to the beach. Did not have a computer available for internet service

i would like to stay again. we arrived very late night. i was really tired from day tour. but when i entered the door , staff was so friendly and welcome me. so make me comfortable. and after dinner i and my hubby swim at the pool . it was very clean, too. shower room and bed .. everything was really clean and i don't smell anything stinks. and next day after check out, on the way back to the airport , i realized how nice their location. nice beach with a great sun rise. you could never imagine before you come in.

We saw at least two roaches in the room. We stayed 4 or 5 nights, and they never changed the sheets or vaccumed. The pool area is small with limited chairs.

The room had beds. Dirty, beds need to be replaced and needs plumbing. My room was pretty bad. There was a dirty towel on the door for the previous guest, and dead bugs in the room. The bed was so uncomfortable I was sore the next day and the sink needed some Drano. Overall the place just did not seem clean at all. Later, I brought my concern about the cleanliness to the assistant manager, who was kind and apologetic, and told me that if I mentioned it to them before they would make sure the room, was VIP for me. I appreciate it, but I do not need VIP just a clean bed and bathroom would have been enough.

Although the rooms are acceptable for an older beach hotel, and the non-smoking room stunk like perfumed cigarettes, the beds were atrocious! We had 2 queens or full-size beds, one of which had not been changed from the previous occupants (fill in your own reasons why here...) and the other, although the sheets seemed to be new, contained many long and short black hairs between the top and bottom sheet. The front desk staff was nice and apologetic, but there was no offer of another room or a refund. I've stayed at older, dirtier hotels, but at least the sheets were clean!

This was our second time staying here and once again, it was great. The pool was gorgeous and clean! Which is a plus since its summer time and there were lots of little kids running around. It is close to the beach and easy driving distance to Old St. Augustine. I was pleased with everything, however he thought the showers were too small. Overall that we were still very happy with the hotel and everything about it. Im sure we will be back in a few months!

Fairly high quality hotel. Even had 2 TV sets. We even forgot a garment bag and went back to get it. Nothing. We stayed at 2 hotels on that trip so I am not sure which hotel I am responding on. Both were high quality and would stay there again. One was a Best Western and the other Days Inn. It was the best Days Inn I had ever stayed in. Thank you.

Close to the beach, microwave and fridge in room, clean, comfortable, close to everything! I love staying at this hotel. It has a little microwave and fridge in the room and is clean and comfortable every time I stay there! The breakfast foods are nice and always fresh. The staff is friendly and helpful. You walk right accross the street to the beach or drive down a mile or so to the beach ramp and drive out onto the beach. Its close to everything - restaurants, shops, Starbucks, gas stations and convenience stores! I loved this place!

Very good location and clean. The pool shower smelled so bad do not use it. Very good location, just a block from the beach, good pizza delivery, nice room, and clean pool. I will visit there again!

It was close to the beach. It was dirty and poorly maintained. While it was close to the beach, the renovations were mostly cosmetic. The room was dirty with water stains on the walls.

Great location. Hotel staff were excellent. Nothing. Close to the beach. Near the historical site. Great service.

Very clean. Great pool (older so deeper than most). short walk to beach. Beach very flat and wide so great for kids. Nice little continental breakfast. Bath linens nice and soft. We went on spur of the moment and we were very glad to find this little motel!
