My fiance and I stayed at the Sea Wake Resort for our honeymoon. We weren't expecting 5 star, just a little vacation from the real world for a few days. When we first got to the room, we really enjoyed it. It was easy to locate, very clean, and well stocked. Our second day, we decided to dine at the hotel restaurant. Now keeping in mind that we chose the hotel because they said they had a tiki bar, live music, cabanas, and the blue dolphin restaurant. But, there wasn't a blue dolphin restaurant. The El Mexicano, which was there, had terrible food, high prices, and the menu was VERY misleading. The server didn't know what was on the menu, and when I asked for the sauce that was supposed to be on my sandwich, she said they had never had it. Putting the restaurant to the side, the hotel was very nice. When you stay at this hotel, just go to one of the many places to eat outside of the hotel. There are many places within walking distance that are much cheaper and much better.

Nothing. Not clean and poor service. Upon checking in the room was not cleaned. The next day it took until 4pm to clean the room. We had an affair to go to at 5:30 pm that day. We had to use the same towels that we used the day before. The Food at the restaurant was terrible. I will never recommend Best Western to anyone.

I booked a room at this 'resort' for a weekend get-away for my birthday. The hotel was dirty and our 'room' was competely unacceptable. The hotel staff kept insisting that there were no other rooms available, yet we overheard them selling rooms to people walking in off the street. Our 'room' was actually the add-on section of a suite....it was not a room, it didn't even have a real room number on the door. There was a full-size bed squeezed into the 'room', there was no art work on the wall, the walls were in serious need of some paint, the closet didn't have a door on it....I could go on and on about the pathetic condition of this 'room'. The 'room' was filthy and since we had prepaid for our room with our airline tickets, our choices were stay in this 'room' or pay for another room at another hotel in addition to this 'room'. My boyfriend and I decided that we were going to stay in this 'resort' instead of incurring the additional cost of paying for two hotels....the only good thing that came out of the situation is that we can joke that it is a good thing that I picked the 'resort' and made the reservations instead of him! This hotel charges a 10/day resort fee and you still have to pay to rent the beach chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas. There are many other wonderful things about Clearwater Beach and plenty of great resorts...enjoy Clearwater, but avoid this hotel!!

There has apparently been a storm and the first room we checked into had a problem with a leak. We were moved to a satisfactory room after that. Other than the outdated TV, the room was nice. The mini-fridge adds to the convenience. If you book a room in this hotel and want to overlook the water, be careful to get the beach view, not the island view. The hotel's private beach and bar made up for the room confusion. We were in town for my daughter's wedding, but I would stay here again if we were just on vacation.

The front desk personnel lied to me about when the room would be ready. It was down hill from there. They were not at all very Guest oriented, it was like they were to busy for you. The place looks okay from the outside but it is very old, worn, outdated and dirty. OVERPRICED for a "beach front" and I use the term "beach front" loosely. I was told that it was for the use of the beach towels and parking. If you stay there do they expect you to park someplace else, it was not like it was valet. What they call beach towels are a JOKE. The drinks were very expensive by the pool and nothing was very clean about the area around the pool or on the "beach".. There was no air conditioning on the 6th floor in the hallway so when you left your room you were hot before you even made it to the elevator. I could go on and on but I hope this helps you to decide to stay anywhere else, you won't be sorry. I know I was sorry I stay there.

The staff was amazing. Minor elevator problems. Very nice view of the gulf from the beach side rooms. Amazing private beach for hotel guests only. The staff was unbelievably amazing. The previous night we stayed at the hard rock hotel in Orlando, and their staff couldn't even compare to the staff at this hotel, they were very friendly and ready to assist you at all times. Definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

The hotel was very nice and clean, and I might go back agaion. However the swimming pool was out of service for 2 days of our 5 day stay. What a bummer. The staff were very friendly, however they should have come up with a plan during the loss of the pool. Maybe they could have created games the kids could play or have another hotel allow us to use their pool. They should invest in the game room, there was only 3 games.

It was a nice place to stay when you are on a limited income. The prices were good and the rooms were average. It was in a good location right on the main road and was lcated near the pier. WE had a good time and the pool was nice and the private beach was a great place for us to take a child. it was quiet and very relaxed. Overall it was a fun time.

The front desk staff were not friendly. The elevators were functioning poorly and the air conditioners were not working. The patio furniture was in poor condition and very limited in number. We checked out early.

It was on the beach and was perfect. No hot tub. This hotel was perfect. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the beach was great, and you can get drinks right on the beach! The room was comfortable, and the location was great, close to many shops and restaurants.

The location was beautiful, located next to a very popular night club, private beach with boat and jetski rentals available right at their beach, the view was nice. The elevators were very slow and broke down a couple of times, almost everyone was complaining about thos elevators, we had to take the stairs a couple of times. Other than that, it was the best deal on that beach.

The latch for the door was broken in my room although there was a dead bolt and peep hole. There were way too many extension cords to the outlets. I would never stay at this hotel as a place to stay again. Safety was a big issue with extension cords running every where. I opened the fridge and really wished I wouldn't have. It smelled bad! The people at the check were friendly.
