adjacent to english bay a lively area for strollers, street performers, etc. many eateries in neighborhood.

a hotel fraught with extremelyslow service for a metropolis. very rude front desk staff staff unsure of central booking policies a very noisy hotel stay if you get a room with a view of english bay bar noise bus noise wouldnt ever stay there again the only good point is it is close to resteraunts and english bay stanley park very disappointing

The front desk staff were extremely helpful giving driving directions to the hotel. Too close to the street. Busses and people were going by our window all night and early in the a.m. I would give this hotel about 2 1/2 stars. The front desk staff were excellent but the bathroom was tiny and the room was only adequate. I did not like hearing busses and people going by all night and early morning. I probably would not stay at this hotel again.

Good location in the upper West end of down town Vancouver near to Stanley Park . Lots of good eateries close by, from the very popular "walk in off the street" cafe' type places to up market a'la carte . Good bus service from the front door of the hotel to most areas. About a 30 minute drive from Vancouver International ( $25 by taxi ) Staff very helpful with day tour bookings. Would definately stay there again

Stayed here 4 nights. 1 blk from the Bay, spent every evening watching the sun go down a blk away at the bay beach. This is a wonderful location I will stay here again. Bathrooms are 1960's era but everything else was nice. no complaints

The hotel is situated on a busy street with bus stops right outside.We asked to be moved to the rear of the hotel because of the noise from the street.The area near the hotel is a very lively area with many places to eat.The hotel has a very lively bar and a resonable restaurant for a good basic menu.The one major problem we encountered was the large number of street people that seem to exist in this part of Vancouver. Access to and from Downtown Vancouver could not be simpler as both buses that stop outside the hotel go there!

We found the hotel to be in need of modernising, especially the bathroom, which was quite antiquated. The bedroom was average with regards to cleanliness, and a pair of dirty socks were found just under the corner of bed. Having said that the bed was very comfortable. The bar in hotel was good and staff were very efficient, both bar staff and breakfast staff

prices of accomodation in Vancouver or in fact in Canada is above average worldwide and not real value for money. This Best Western hotel is in theb same category it is good and clean and well located but not cheap

Didn't get a "view" I hoped for, but staff were willing to change rooms the next day. I declined the pack and move since most of my time wasn't in the room.

The hotel itself was basic but clean. Davie St where the hotel is situated has a lot of fast food stores and 7-11 type shops. While safe I would not recommend this area for families with children.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Great location just a short walk from English Bay and Stanley Park. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
