This hotel is fabulous because it has free parking on site, is on the Saint Charles Streetcar line which will take you right to the Quarter very inexpensively and reliably. The room was comfortable, although the blackout curtains hung over the air conditioning unit, blocking most of the cold air into the room. The TV was at an odd angle and so was not visible from the bed. The lights were hot, which was irritating in the hot New Orleans summer. The free wireless is great, and the free breakfast each morning was pretty good.

Decent fitness center and continental breakfast. Room smelled smoky and printer in business center did not work.

Well situated close to Universities, restaurants on Trolley Line. Room was well appointed but AC unit was behind bathroom door. Staff was very professional and helpful. Breakfast was sumptuous and parking was free!

Having taken the train to New Orleans the motel was on the streetcar line and we took it almost everywhere we went. It was wonderful.

Excellent location for our needs, plus a good part of town.

Front Desk very friendly and knowledgeable, Bed, very comfortable, We were on the third floor, elevator sounded like it was on its last leg. Shower had to many restrictors in it. somebody had put an air freshner in the ceiling fan. Room was clean .. Parking was about a block away. Price of room was set for area, not condition of room ..

Great location but the bathroom was dirty(moldy shower curtain), and the bathroom door would not close all the way. We talked to management about the bathroom door but maintenance never fixed it. Also the emergency fire directions incorrectly identified the room. The directions labeled the room we were in as the room that was 3 doors down the hall.

Free parking and close to streetcar. It was a great place for us to stay while visiting New Orleans and the French quarter.

The late check in clerk watched us struggle outside with luggage up the stairs. I mentioned that a ramp would have been helpful, and her reply was, "There is one on the side." There was a smell in the room that I just covered with lysol spray. The bed linen was dingy, and had a dirt spot on the top sheet. The shower cutain had mold on it. When I requested fresh linen and a shower curtain, the front desk said she would try to find some. Response time was great, but the linen were the wrong size and no pillow cases. In the morning the maid changed the linen to the proper size. The room was a handicap room, and the closet bar was too low to hang my dress inside. So I hung it ousite the door. I don't know about you, but clean linen, shower curtian and towels are essential to my decision for a repeat visit.

Great Location in a great part of town. Quiet, yet close enough to everything. Restaurant right next door for PM meals. Staff was always friendly and very helpful. This is a no frills hotel, very clean, and a great place to sleep - which served my purpose perfectly. The bed was oohh sooo comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. Hotel has free parking included which in New Orleans is a big plus. Great value for your money.

Convienience. Breakfast was not fresh fruit but canned- little that was healthy.

Great room, and great location. Very impressed for the price. Staff was friendly and helpful, and continental breakfast was great. Also, free parking was SO nice. It was the whole reason we stayed here.

The hotel was clean, but not the ideal for a longer stay. The hotel itself doesn't have many amenities, but it is in a good central location. The area is pretty, but the parking is offsite in a garage a block down and over. Not ornate, but a good value.

Old hotel andnicely renovated. Back door access from gated parking lot was not very clean.

This was a nice hotel in a good location. Would have been better if the streetcars were running! Disadvantage: cannot roll carts to street level - hard to load luggage. Odor in room never fixed. Felt the view was substandard.

Large room. Parking in parking garage, but not a real problem. Clean, friendly, older facility, right on the street, not much close parking.

Safe, quiet area, clean rooms and lobby, streetcar stop close by. Parking garage is only for cars, so we had to park our truck on the street. However, it was safe and visible to us, so that was okay. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. I liked having a second vanity/lavatory near the closet and away from the bathroom. The room was on the small side, but still very comfortable with plenty of room for the two of us. The continental breakfast was filling - there was no meat on the menu, but there was a variety of other good breakfast foods (including boiled eggs & fresh fruits). There are books on each floor to borrow for pleasure reading - a nice touch if you have time to read in New Orleans!

In the heart of the beautiful Garden District, but right on the St. Charles trolley line, so it's easy to get to the French Quarter. I liked everything about the hotel. This is a splendid, inexpensive hotel with lots of charming restaurants within walking distance. It is an older hotel, yet very comfortable with many fine touches. I'm not easy to please, but this would be a prototype for what I look for in a hotel.

Good rate, nice rooms, convenient location. Decorated like a boutique hotel, not a Best Western. Rooms and lobby are attractive and location is safe and convenient. Have stayed here many times. Can take street car right out front up and down St. Charles and to Quarter.

I noticed there was a random choice of reading material and this made me feel comforted knowing I could truly feel relaxed in a place such as this one. I wish the breakfast buffet could have been extended for a few hours more. It usually takes time for night owls to wake up early in the morning. The location for me was a safe environment and the staff made my stay much more better.
