I did not have time to enjoy all the amenities but from what I could see there was plenty of things for entertainment. Breakfast area kind of small and I think they could improve. Only 10 minutes to my destination, Correctional Training Center, this was very nice indeed. I would certainly recommend it to a friend.

I called this hotel again today with my concerns and they were very helpful and supportive of our situation. They were so much so that I feel bad about my review that I just submitted. Unfortunatley I was unable to get through to them when I initially wanted to handle the situation. I was told it is Best Western's policy to have a night call button during the night shift. We of course were checking out of the hotel before the day shift came on duty(at 545 am) which is part of the reason we could not find staff to handle our conserns. I was also assured that they have a regular pest control service. He also addressed my concerns about the many construction workers who were staying at the hotel.

The Best Western chain usually features modestly priced motels and this was no different, but what a difference in the quality from most Best Westerns. The room was large (table and two chairs, desk and rocking chair, king size bed, microwave, refrigerator, etc.); it was clean, everything worked, the bed comfortable, quiet, and a fantastic breakfast! All of this for a low-end price. The only drawback might be it was on the "wrong" side of town, but I never felt insecure. The pool looked great although I didn't use it. The staff was great and helpful. Great trip.

Over all the hotel was okay. The mattress was like a rock. The staff at check in was great. I had for got to ask for a first floor room and they accomodated us although we did have to take a smoking room but it was for one night. When checking out the young lady was totally disinterested and put out when I asked for additonal receipt. The room was clean. Its okay if you are staying for one night but otherwise would look else where.

The bed was very comfortable. Outside door room access. They were very friendly and the grounds were very well manicured. The pool looked inviting and the staff was friendly and helpful. The computer in the reception area was state of the art and accessible. When we saw the bed, accomodations, etc. we were very pleased.

What rude people at this location. The staff was unfriendly and cold and unaccomodating. I would never stay at this place again.

Recently painted room. Filthy carpet. Very old, family run. Check-in good, room was okay. Not worth the price. I would probably not stay there again. I would certainly not stay there with my wife. Suitable for construction workers working out of town. That's about it.

Neat, clean, and quiet. Comfortable but not outstanding bed. Motel exceeded our expectations at the price. A no-nonsense, practical value. Quiet, comfortable. Room was well cared for and the plumbing functioned well. An excellent value for the price. Ideally suited to a business traveler or traveler watching his wallet.

The staff was friendly and helpful after the first mixup. The price was too much for the quality of the motel. When I first contacted the hotel to upgrade to 2 queens from a king bed, I was told that they can't do that. I spent a long time on the phone trying to straighten it out. The night shift person did not know how to do that, but when I called the next day they were apologetic and made the change, although they charged for the upgrade unlike most hotels. The staff was very friendly when we arrived. The motel is pretty old. For the price we would not stay there again.

Big room, clean. Continental breakfast, non existent. Even though continental breakfast was advertised and in the price of the room, by 830 in the morning, no rolls, no coffee and the help was to busy on their own personal phone calls to restock, this happened both days we were there.

I was pleased to find a microwave and refrigerator in the room. I also liked that we had our own blow dryer and iron/ironing board. The carpet felt like it needed shampooing. Overall, the room was pleasant. I would stay there again if I had to stay in Lodi.
