It is old fashioned, but has up to date amenities. The bathroom is tiny! But that goes along with the age of the motel. It is a great romantic getaway! We loved it!

Most comfortable motel room I visited in a long time. Beautiful furniture, nostalgic decoration, delighful 50's diner feel to the lobby and excellent staff. Our family hobby is Historic Route 66, not all of the restored properties are as nice as this one.We will definitely return!

Hotel was nice. They gave me the receipt and it said I would have only paid $75 had I booked with them directly. You charged me $98. I wish I could get my $20 back.

The room was very small, the bed was very small, the bathroom was very small. Just minimal amenities. Did not go to the continental breakfast, so do not have an opinion. In the middle of the night, I could smell cigarette smoke coming into my room from the next room.

Overall I can only say nice things about my stay at the Rail Haven. My room was cozy, clean, and modern - quite like a studio apartment with a leather recliner. The rooms are compact but for overnight they are perfect. The heat unit was a little noisy but I find that in all hotels that I stay in and I travel 90 days out of a year. If you like to spend your money wisely I recommend staying here!!!!! If you end up with concerns while you stay, the staff would like to know before you go so that they can make it right. Happy traveling!

Room was not ready at check-in. Reserved a premium room and was placed next to Glenstone. Traffic noise all night.

Nostalgic appeal of Route 66 decor and great breakfast choices. Room had a faint tobacco smell and the TV in one of our rooms had reception problems. It has very clean and well maintained rooms, a convenient location, a attentive and pleasant staff. The nostalgic decor that highlights its place in the history of Route 66 makes it a great place.

To anyone wondeing about this hotel, I can tell you right now, don't stay here unless you really enjoy rude staff, outdated small rooms and a/c units. I wasn't expecting too much with our stay here seeing how it is a budget minded motel. However it is a Best Western and I would have thought the room and staff would be satisfactory. To keep this short since I could probably go on and on, just stay somewhere else when visiting Springfield. There are at least a dozen more hotels on Glenstone Ave all of which have to be better.

We stayed at best Western Route 66 Rail Haven in Springfield, MO. The room was a little small but it was clean and comfortable. It reminded me of the old motels when we traveled as kids. The location is very close to Missouri State College which made it very convienent for us.

Was a neat hotel with a historic nature. Overall i was pleased with the hotel. Overall I was pleased with the hotel. The staff at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful in every way. Breakfast area was small but still nice with good complimentary breakfast.

The Rail Haven was very comfortable and convenient to the wedding we went to. I loved the nostalgia of the Route 66 era and their keeping with that theme. We stayed in the 1938 room and really enjoyed all the old pictures on the walls. My one and only drawback was the size of the room. I realize that this is the way they back then but we could have used a little more space. The bathroom fixtures were really nice and again, no place to put things when you get ready, but we still loved it.

The bed was comfortable. Exterior, parking, size of rooms, everything except bed. Only allowed 2 towels for two people. When asking for 2 towels for our hair, told that they couldn't give extras. Extra for 2 people would be more than 4 at any other hotel that I've ever stayed at. Never, have I only had 2 towels for a double occupancy!

This Best Western was very comfortable, the room seemed smaller than most with a desk area and a table and two chairs. The place was very clean and neat and close to many restaurants. There is a lot of history in this hotel. We loved this place and will stay again.

The room was clean and the breakfast was better than any continental breakfast.

My stay was very nice, no problems, very quiet. The location was very convenient for shopping and dining. the staff was very helpful with questions I had about the area, as well as helping me find things on the internet pertaining to my stay. It was everything I could have asked for in a place to stay when I'm not at home, and it was neat to stay in a place with some history - it's on Route 66!!

Nostalgic and quaint hotel. Older building, but well maintained and room was good size, clean & with amenities. Unsure of the safety of surrounding area and a bit noisy due to corner location.

The new renovations are nice and they had an excellent variety at the free breakfast, much more than continental. The noise level was very high. Very close to the road with emergency sirens going on all night and patrons out yelling in the parking lot. You will be pleasantly surprised with newly renovated rooms at this hotel including 2 sinks and a fridge and microwave. The free breakfast had everything you could ever want except a waitress! Lots of choices and very clean. The exterior is not as appealing and the noise level is a bit high, but the rooms are clean and comfortable.

The staff was courteous, helpful and friendly. Took a while to get checked in due to business level.

Very clean, neat and nicely remodeled. Loved the location, and the layout of rows of rooms, like little cottages on the 5 acres. Lots of green space and walking space with an old time feel but all the modern conveniences. Yes, the rooms were a little small but flat screen TV on the wall helped and the lounge chair was great. Actually, very cozy. Hot tub looked great, wish I had brought my suit and could have stayed longer.
