RoebuckInteresting building. Handy bar.The young lady on reception who also doubled up as a waitress at breakfast was exceptional in her customer service. A real asset.

Never again! There are much better hotels in the area for a similar price.

Very disappointing. To use the WiFi I would have had to change my IP address so too much hassle.Dining room was completely deserted throughout the evening so I ate in the bar. The chicken wings starter was very poor - but having eaten nothing all day I ate it anyway. The lamb shank was better.Had I known I would be wakened at 0730 by construction work starting up immediately outside my window I would not have stayed here. The whole place seems tired and shabby.

Oh Dear where do we start. Iarrived at 4 pm into a very tiny car park covered in mud from the adjacent building site struggled to find space for my van because are was full of vehicles from said site. Once checked in had to negociate a long corridor which aws really cold damp and had filthy and smelly carpets. My room was clean but pokey and tired. The ensuite was disgusting toilet was all brown in the bottom and under the seat was all stained. in the staur well was a pile of what I assume was about 12 bags of laundry waiting to be washed (quite a fire hazzard). Didnt compain as I was only there for 1 night but on check out I told the young lady that I thought the hotel was an absolute DUMP and she gave me a questionaire to fill in

The room was very clean and comfortable but the bathroom, albeit very clean was getting a little well worn or tired.Staff were excellent. Food and service the same.

I thought that overall the hotel was good. The room was adequate in size and facilities were fine. I found the Food I ate to be of a high standard and the service to be adequateMy only concern was that laterooms.com state that Breakfast is included in the room price when, in fact the hotel, when asked, said that it wasn't

This hotel was near to an event I was at, and very cheap. for the price - very good. The film/satellite TV was down, though. I'd stay there again.

The hotel has a rather run down feel to it and probably could do with a bit of renovation. Room was adequate but more care should be taken to check that the soap dispensers are filled and that the bin in the bathroom has been emptied from the previous guest. My used tea cup was still there after room had been serviced. I only had 2 breakfasts. The cooked breakfast was freshly cooked but I was surprised to find that 2 of the small individual preserve jars were already opened and had been used by a previous guest. Rather limited continental breakfast.

The hotel looked as if it needed a make over - rooms shabby and smelt a bit damp and we only had one set of towels. The staff were friendly and polite.

Room was very \"tired\" and could do with a redecorate in addition and most annoyingly there is a building site right next door so I was woken up by that. My room also had a strange electrical buzzing sound all night even when I unplugged the TV so I am unsure what that was.

Service food and rooms very good, but got rather warm in the room, could need some kined of cooling system when weather is hot apart from that enjoyed my stay.

this was the perfect hotel for what we needed, the rooms and beds were of great standard, the staff were exceptionally proffessional and very friendly, i did recommend this hotel so my family occupied another 3 rooms ( ooked through laterooms of course).the value for money was brilliant and i have no complaints whatsoever
Date of Stay:

The hotel has reduced in size due the rooms at the back of the hotel pulled down to accommodate a nursing home. The 'new' superior rooms are far from the standard of the old. I had no heating in my room apart from an electric portable heater and the hot water must have took well over 5 mins to come through the shower. TV was also a joke, it was like being in a 1980's time warp, only BBC1 - CH5 and the picture was fuzzy on 4 of those. No pay movies either. I was offered an alternative room but had already unpacked and was feeling really unwell with a cold so declined. I was given another quilt to put on top of the paper thin one already on the bed.
