With a rented car we drove to Palmyra to see the Sacred Grove and Palmyra Temple. Also, with a map we went north a few miles and put our feet into Lake Ontario for the first time.

Enjoyed my stay. Hotel was well maintained, everything worked, all the lights, TV remote, clock radio, business center PCs, the works. Room was spacious and clean. Very nice breakfast bar. All items were kept well stocked. Could come down 15 minutes before closing and everything was still available and fresh.

Booked a non-smoking room. The room smelled like smoke when we got up the next day. Was told there was a ventilation problem. i woke up with heaviness in my chest. It was disgusting.

The best western was great, from the kind and appceciative staff to the evening snacks that are located just outside of the elevator,(the chocolate cookies are the best). The rooms were nicely decorated. The flat screen TV was of great quality and the hotel offers FREE DVD's for your viewing pleasure. I LOVE THIS PLACE. I watched 3-movies (Late Night), my husband doesn't know, he was sleeping.

Room was ready and clean, bed was comfy. I really don't remember. I got there late because I was traveling. Woke up, had breakfast, and hit the road again. Couldn't ask for much more.

This hotel is a GREAT value for the price. The staff are extremely helpful. The hot breakfast was very good. It was a busy time and the hotel was full but the staff kept the breakfast items stocked and hot. You could make waffles and there were cheese omlettes and either bacon, sausage or ham. Even the coffee was good. In the lobby are two computers available for anyone to use without charge. There is free longdistance. It is easy to reach off 390 and close to downtown. Within a mile are lots of restaurants and some shopping malls. We also found it to be very quiet at night as far as outside noise and the rooms were well insulated and we did not hear our neighbors or their TV's. I heard the staff talking with people who were looking for a room (the hotel was full) and they actually made calls for these people and helped them find a place to stay. It is not fancy but a comfortable bed and good food really make it a good value.

The Best Western Rochester Marketplace Inn had the worst bed I've ever slept in at a hotel. The mattress had a valley in the middle and my husband and I spent the entire night rolling into the middle of the bed. Definitely a downhill sleeping experience. The bathroom floor was dirty especially along the length of the tub. We have family in Rochester and this will be the last time we stay here!

Free DVD movies. No pool. Hotel staff was very friendly and the accommodations had recently been refurbished. Excellent value.

This place was great! I stayed here on my way home from a conference and I almost wish that I had commuted to Ithaca from this place. They have free long distance for the guests. They have a selection of DVDs that the guests can borrow FREE. When you get there they have cookies and treats in the lobby. The doors on the ends of the building are card access, so it is harder for freaks to come and bother you. There are restaurants next to the facility and across the street. What is amazing is that they give you all of this for one of the lowest prices in town. It is like 5 star living on a 2 star budget.The only time that I was even remotely disappointed during my stay was the tummy ache that I gave myself from all of the cookies, and that they didn't have Tabasco sauce for the biscuits and gravy. I would recommend that anybody who has a chance, STAY HERE!!Best WishesKent in Colorado

The Rochester Best Western was the worst hotel I have stayed in in a long time. We arrived late and the doors were locked and the night person would not open them for some time as we were banging on the door and he was right at the desk. He could hear us but he did not even acknowledge us for some time. We then got to the rooms. I was traveling with my boss and we each had our own rooms. Mine smelled and his smelled and the carpet was damp. I am typically satisfied with hotels and rarely do I visit one that I would not go back to but this is one hotel I won't visit again.

Stayed here on way back from Boston with the family. We had intended to go to a minor league baseball game but my wife and daughter chose shopping instead and my son and I checked out a FREE dvd and wayched Flags of our Fathers. Great variety of nearby restaurants made dinner easy. The hot breakfast of omletts,bacon,sausage,waffles,etc. was terrific.

The Best Western Marketplace in Rochester has been a comfortable place for me to stay while visiting my daughter at the University of Rochester. It's close to the campus as well as restaurants and shopping. The hotel is generally well-maintained, but due to updating the entry area, was a bit of a mess recently. This is clearly a problem that will disappear when the work is completed. The rooms are adequate in size and clean, the breakfast buffet is generous and the snacks at night greatly appreciated.

Pretty clean room, nice staffs, hot breakfast, and beverage&sweets in the lobby all day. i'd definitely stay there if i have a chance to visit Rochester, NY. it'd be perfect if their shuttle bus service was 24H. (i had to take a taxi to leave the hotel at 5am)

I really enjoy staying at this hotel for business travel. All of the employees are so nice and friendly, and seem to enjoy working there. There are treats out in the evening and a hot breakfast included with the stay in the morning. The shuttle service goes out of its way to get me where I need to go. It feels more like a family run hotel instead of a chain.
