The hotel was very clean with big rooms. The breakfast food was enough to jump start your day. It is in walking distance to the shops. Great front desk staff with checking in and out.

Location The room was clean except for the bathroom floor. It was extremely dirty. The hotel was in a great location and the staff was nice. It had really comfortable beds. The only negative would be that the bathroom floor was extremely dirty.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The breakfast was great! The front desk staff were very nice and efficent. We had no problems at all. Everything was just as stated and we will certainly come back and stay here.

Extremely friendly and great service and acommodations for the price. For the price -- it far exceeded my expectations. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly. I would stay here again if in the area.

The room was large with space to walk around in. The beds and sheets need to be updated. The hotel was convenient to the area we stayed. Able to walk to small town of Helen, GA. The room's queen size beds and sheets need to be updated.

The first room smelled of smoke and was listed non-smoking, it had ants, flies,and spiders through out room. The carpet was filthy. In the morning, our toothbrushes were completely covered with ants. The manager moved us and was very nice. The second room was better but still the overall feeling was dirty. I would expect a room like this for $30 a night. But this hotel was the most expensive in Helen. I was compensated back about $30. I will never stay here again...yuck!

Breakfast. No fox news on TV. Good location, nice hotel, though no elevator (2 story). Courteous, friendly people. Great breakfast and dining area.

We had a very large clean room close to the lobby and the breakfast was amazingly complete. But the staff really made our stay wonderful. They were very helpful with suggestions. We will be back.

It was close to all Helen eateries and the river. The room was very musty, the ceiling had mold and was sagging in the bathroom area. Although the staff was very nice upon my arrival, the room had a lot to be desired. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room but the air in the room was very musty. Ceiling in the bathroom was sagging and showed signs of mold. The carpet left your feet dirty and turned white socks black on the soles. There was a nice eatery adjoining the hotel where the service was great and the food was even better . The inner tubing was real close as well. So if you don't really mind where you sleep, and the cleanliness of your room, well then this would be a good place to stay.

"Helen was a wonderful break from the routine as was the Best Western. Breakfasts were remarkable with eggs, french toast, etc. It was near everything: shopping, eating, etc. Parking was at a premium downtown so we could walk anywhere. There was a lot of construction elsewhere but okay at the Best Western."

This hotel was the worst I have ever stayed in. When I pulled back the comforter and sheets there were two hairs on my pillow with no pillow case on it. Also the carpet near the bathroom and sink was wet. I told the woman at desk and she did not want to help me at all. I will never stay at a Best Western again and I don't know how this hotel received three stars.
