Loved the stay! Great hot free breakfast with fantastic service person. Great location with many services near at same exit: big UA theater, Barnes & Noble, Melting Pot fondue restaurant, other great restaurants. Only problem was pool water was too hot to swim during a heat wave - no way to cool down. We are repeat guests here - our favorite place to stay in Baton Rouge.

Great location. Ice machine didn't work. Great place to stay.

I stayed here two weekends in a row. Our family loved it! Had a two bedroom suite- very roomy and comfortable. Basketball court outside. Good breakfast in the morning. No longer have manager's reception in the evening due to lack of business, I was told. But for this price, it doesn't matter. Hard to find a hotel with two beds and a pull out couch for this price!

The high point of the hotel was the complimentary breakfast and the comfort of the bed. The low points were the unmotivated and inexperienced desk staff, and the housekeeping staff. My room was not ready when I was checked in at 3 PM, and was not cleaned at all one of the five days I stayed there. This happened last year as well, so I think that this is an ongoing problem.

The hotel is located close to the areas which I have to tend to business in. It has easy access to all parts of Baton Rouge and is in a safe area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Rates in Baton Rouge are higher for the type of accomodation than in other City's. The amount of new hotels under construction should aid the pricing in the future.

It was clean and friendly people. Hard to find and parking unusual.

This is the second time we have stayed here. Both times the service has been great, the staff bends over backwards to make our stay comfortable. The room is very clean and up to date. I will be staying again in the summer of 2009

My daughter (a teenager) and I stayed at this hotel while in Baton Rouge for a wakeboarding competition. We had a very nice room by the pool and loved it. It was definitely worth the upgrade to get a poolside room. We liked being able to walk right out our patio door to the private pool area that was complete with a hot tub, basketball hoop in the pool, and sport court nearby. The lounge chairs were comfortable and ceiling fans added to the southern ambience. The staff was the friendliest I've ever met anywhere and the breakfast staff really went out of their way to make us feel right at home. Cookies and fruit were always free and available and there's a nice little cocktail hour in the evenings. We loved our taste of southern hospitality!Great restaurants and a book store are in walking distance too.

Because of bad weather, we had to post-pone our trip, some of the roads were underwater. But I have stayed in that kind of hotel before and was more than pleased.

Just completed a stay here two weeks after Gustav beat-up Baton Rouge. Even with the numberous repair and clean-up crews in residence and many of the staff without power, the experience was great. Rooms were clean and promptly made-up, the manager's reception and morning breakfast were great and the staff very helpful. Close to LSU and I-10, it is a good central location for many activities in the area.

the hotel may be under renovation because some of the carpet in the halls was different than the bldg I was put in. The room was very tired. The bed however was comfortable. The phone was broken as was the showerhead. Overall if I stay there again I will ask for a renovated room

The room was comfortable, lighting and climate control was excellent. We met family from different states. We were housed in different buildings. Not so convenient. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast bar was great and a good place for our family to gather. We were visiting Baton Rouge from various parts of the U.S.

Upon arrival i found that it was easy to check in. They had most of my information already in the system. All i had to do was show ID and payment. When I got to the room everything was in order. The room was very clean. The only thing was the air conditioning. It never really got cool until the wee hrs of the morning. Since its so hot down here that may need to be addresed. Other than that everything was what I expected. Thanks for a great stay.

The suite was clean and extremely comfortable. My family and I enjoyed staying in this hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable. The rooms were clean and the breakfast hit the spot.

Friendliness of the staff, the relaxed atmosphere. The bathrooms need No slip or rougher surfaces in the showers, my husband and me both fell. I really enjoyed the hotel and the staff. They were very helpful and also quiet. The hallway's kind of smelled a little, but the room was wonderful. The shower floor was very slippery and so was the Jacuzzi tub. Hard to get into and out of without falling.

The hot breakfast buffet was excellent! There were mini-bars in the rooms, but they were not filled. The hotel had easy access to the highway and nearby restaurants. I'm planning on staying there on my return trip back to my home.

Complimentary full breakfast, evening snacks, beautiful courtyard, lovely suite. The setting was lovely with a theatre, bookstore, shops, restaurants within walking distance. The cafe staff was very courteous, helpful and talented. The room was affordable with several great amenities.

I did enjoy the convenience of having a kitchen in the room. The staff was inexperienced and was not customer service oriented. Although the room was clean, I do not feel it was worth. The furniture was outdated and some of the channels that were advertised as free were unable to be accessed. This was minimal in light of the customer service I received from the front desk clerk. When I called to make a reservation, I was informed there were no vacancies. Yet, when I went online and reserved a room I was able to with no problem. I immediately called the hotel back, and the clerk was unable to provide me with an acceptable answer as to why he informed me he had no vacancies. This one experience has soured my view of Best Westerns overall. I will not recommend these hotels to my company for possible future corporate accounts.

Hotel is easy to get too and parking is great. Could not find the ice machine on the second floor Recently I have stayed at this hotel and Chase Suites right down the road. Although Chase was a classier hotel with friendlier and helpful people this hotel was a good hotel. This hotel staff was very professional, where as Chase was professional but also humorous and made you feel at home more. The suites at Chase seemed to look classier with better quality bedding. The suites overall at Chase look more for the executive then just for anyone. The suites at the Best Western was nice but can't compare to Chase.
