Poor refreshment facilities in room. Simply no biscuits and too little normal coffee and sugar sachets. More was provided for decaf persons.Evening dinners only served in the Bar area. Pity that the Breakfast Room could not be used for the purpose, even though there may a only a few guest dining at the hotel it would have been a better quieter place in which to dine.

good enough - very poor food - not “allowed” to eat takeaway food in roomHotel was good enough for one night. It was made very clear that a £50 charge would be made if takeaway food was taken into room - no fewer than 5 notices to guests about this. This would have been ok if their food was edible!

Car park wasn't very thought out, on leaving the hotel my car was blocked in by a member of staff.

There are not many hotels in Newton Abbot, but we had to visit here for business and the best Western Queens was the only option. It's overpriced for the standard of hotel and I'm glad that I was not alone as I was able to get out into the town during the evening.My room was small but clean. Adequate for just one night. The breakfast was good and of a decent quality.I will probably have to return to Newton Abbot next year and will probably have to stay here again, unless I can find an alternative - and I will look to find one before rebooking.

I only tried breakfast and found the foods were quiet good and hot enough, the staff inside are friendly and polite.Staying in a quite big room with very cleaned towels, bed sheets and pillows. All the things are tidy. However, the beds were so soft that could not support our backs and the quits were so thick that I felt hot. I hope that Queens Hotel may pay attention on this if it considers buying the new one later.

This is a perfect location for Newton Abbot races just a 10 minute walk.

The chosen room we wanted was already booked ,they gave us a free upgrade to a superior room which was huge clean and the beds and linen crispy clean, i am about to book again for next year, I cannot say enough to recomend this hotel \"probably the best in the west\"

Due to how much I paid for the room, I was booked into a standard room and not a Superior room. The front desk tried to tell me that I needed to pay more, for this type of room. Evenually they swapped the room, to a superior. I also had no freeview, which when I queried, they told me I was using the handset wrong. Parking was a nightmare and I also noticed that the small amount of parking at the back of the hotel, was an extra charge.

It was great that they had free WIFI but the rooms a tired and could do with updating. An old hotel with a funny layout but very central and a good price too. Breakfast was not as good as I had hoped for, would have been nice to have had the bacon cooked to order.

Probably the cleanest hotel I have stayed in for years. Food was very good at the bar, breakfast was very good as was the waiting staff and reception staff. The tv could have been a bit bigger but it worked fine and there was sky channels. I will definately stay again it is in a good location to walk into town as well.Thanks.

Bathroom lacked shower gel. Container was empty and not refilled.The kettle could only be boiled on the floor. The lead was not long enough to reach a table. This is potentially a dangerous situation.

Our stay at the hotel was very enjoyable,with greatly helpful staff & fantastic food.The only thing that would spoill a visit to the hotel was the noise from the road on which it is sited.And watch out for the loose toilet seat in room 4!!!

Breakfast staff where found to NOT interested in asking if I would like tea, coffee, toast, etc.I had to find a waitress and ask if I could have some tea and toast after waiting 20 minuetes. Not a good start to the day?

The car park is tiny, you will have to park on the road. There was a wedding on when we stayed so they weren't doing evening meals - be aware that there is very little within walking distance, unless you like fast food.
