The hotel appeared recently updated. My room was clean, comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was adequate. No wireless internet access, but when I asked the desk, they provided an ethernet cable for the jack in the room. Overall, I felt the room was a great value for the price.

Located in the heart of the city, 15 minutes on foot from the Plaka & the Acropolis - not too close to the tourist area, so prices of restaurants in the area were reasonable and good. Not a palace, but decent and clean rooms. Right on the main street, so it is noisy - you have to close the windows & sleep with the air conditioner on. I would stay at the Pythagorion again.

At first a little hard to find, driving into Athens for the first time, but concierge was very helpful and patient by phone. Rooms are clean, internet connection fast. Hotel was much less costly than others and proved more than adequate.
