Date of Stay:

Stayed two nights over a weekend. The room was small but clean, the bathroom clean. The AC was great, the window opened but the street noise was loud. I was told that I had one of the recently renovated rooms. Very spare decor and spartan look to the room. Bed small but comfortable. Rates good for Midtown. Will use this hotel again in the future.

Room fairly clean except for the filthy carpet. Bed was too small - could have used at least Queen size for 2 people. Bathtub drain needed repair. Needed towels and had to find the maid from another floor. Location was great.

[...] at the front dest was very gracious and delightful to deal with and made our stay very pleasant. When we do come back we will always stay there.

Nice (if tiny) bathroom; very comfortable bed; in-room mini coffeemaker; good lighting; quiet. Slow elevators (get a lower-floor room and take the stairs); room was dusty (though bathroom was clean).

The bed was horrible it was in the shape of a U and we tossed and turned all night, other than that the people were nice the location was great and the price was wonderful

Okay hotel to stay at. Location pretty good if you want a dose of midtown madness (1 block from time square). Not very fancy, but hey, it's New York, so one can't expect too much for the price. Beds were at least really compfy!

Tiny, tiny room. Clean, but old hotel. Bell staff were very helpful. Location is amazing! Stay here if you plan on enjoying Times Square as you will not want to spend time in your hotel room.

We booked the Best Western for our daughter. She needed to be near Equinox on 50th and this was the best rate we found for the area. Although the rooms were clean they were very small. There was also a musty order in the bathroom so she bought an oil burner and would light it every day to mask the musty smell. other than that, the service was great, the location is amazing.

Smallish room, but I have stayed in smaller, so the size wasnt anything to complain about. Clean, simple, great service, charming decor. Bathroom water pressure wasnt that very strong, but everything else was wonderful, especially considering most places dont get much cheaper than this without having to share a bathroom. Literally one minute walk to Times Square. Incredible location!!! Especially for the price. Close to restaurants, shopping, hop-on hop-off buses, in the middle of broadway. A few blocks from NBC studios/Rockefeller Plaza. 10-15 minute walk to Madison Square Gardens. This hotel was unbelievable value for money and I will go back to The Best Western President if I go to NYC again. I would and have recommended this hotel to anyone wanting good value and good location. A+++

The King suite was spacious, clean, recently updated and modestly priced in comparison to other establishments. All staff were courteous and friendly.Location is the best for Broadway shows, Time Square and other attractions. Only downside... they are completing a renovation of the hotel and the front lobby/outside was under construction. This, however, did not cause much of an inconvenience. Overall, good experience and I would return with the family.

Convenient location. Room was very small. The room was very tiny and the front desk clerk was sneezing and did not wash her hands after blowing her nose.

Right in the theatre district. Rooms a little small but then they are only for sleeping.

Great location. Only problems I had were - 1) Aircon cooled the area 30cm above the below-window mounted machine and no-where else. I was there in the middle of winter (-5c outside) and the room was too hot! Go figure! Opening the window was possible, but a) did not good and b) filled the room with cooking fumes from way below. Aircon needs fixing. Every one of the 50+ motels I've stayed in US-wide over the last 2 years had better aircon than this. 2) Fire Engines! There's a fire station on the same block to the west. If your room faces this, you may have a rude awakening on some nights. I wear earplugs and still got woken intermittently. All just my opinions... mileage may vary! Staff VERY FRIENDLY. I would stay again for business, but if I was going for a romantic weekend, the problems mentioned could spoil the mood.

This room in our hotel was clean and it was in a great location. It was close to Times Square and we were spared all the noise from traffic. When we first arrived they assigned us the wrong room and they quickly rectified the situation. Would I stay there again, probably, only if I got the same low price. We did not eat there and we did not use any room service.

The location of this hotel was great. The hotel was under renovation at the time of our visit. The location was wonderful. The room met its purpose for some where to sleep. The room was very small.
