| Stayed two nights over a weekend. The room was small but clean, the bathroom clean. The AC was great, the window opened but the street noise was loud.
I was told that I had one of the recently renovated rooms. Very spare decor and spartan look to the room. Bed small but comfortable. Rates good for Midtown. Will use the Best Western President Hotel New York again in the future. |

| Room fairly clean except for the filthy carpet. Bed was too small - could have used at least Queen size for 2 people. Bathtub drain needed repair. Needed towels and had to find the maid from
another floor. Location was great. |

| Right in the theatre district. Rooms a little small but then they are only for sleeping. |

| We got a tiny room (looked like a single room with a double bed in it) and it was fairly grotty even though it was cleaned every day. However it was in an ideal location to see everything in Manhattan. |

| Expected more since the hotel is right in timesquare and for the money. The toilet was clogged when we got there and couldnt find anyone to fix it. Paint was peeling off the walls shelves in the bathroom were falling off the walls, pillows were flat as a pancake, no one was helpful, store was hardly ever open and when it was I went to get a water out of the fridge and there were half drank drinks and old food in the fridge. The only thing good about the Best Western President Hotel New York is the location. |

| Rooms generally comfortable and well-equipped, if not exactly spacious. Location about as central as one could ask. Front desk staff helpful and courteous. I have stayed in more luxurious hotels for less money; but this is mid-town Manhattan. so it is hard to fault the place. We were certainly perfectly content with the President Hotel. |

| - During my stay , I missed a fridge because eating only in restaurants is very expensive. - It`s very nice that you have free internet access but I wish there were more computers. -It`s wonderful that you have a coffee maker in your rooms -Unfortenately my room has every time ( I have stayed BW President 3 times ) been a bit dirty. Especially the carpet have been quite dirty. I still love your hotel , thank you ! |

| I stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights in March 2008. While I realised from reading other reviews that the hotel was a cheap option, I wasn't prepared for the tiny room! I realise that all New York hotel rooms are small but this was not what I had expected. Also, the heat in the hotel was turned up so high that even the air conditioner turned to the coolest setting all night & day in our room didn't help - I was very dehydrated by the time I returned home. The hotel guest guide also said that the hotel had recently been refurbished but the room we were in was old & tired looking. It was reasonably clean though - apart from the long black hair attached to the disposable cups! The location of the hotel is excellent, so for the price you pay, I guess it was a good choice. We also visited one of the Japanese restaurants right next door to the hotel & that meal & service could not be faulted. I would probably stay there again just because of the handy location. |

| Great base for visiting Manhatten. Hotel was a bit 'tired' but very clean. Aircon was noisy, as was the fridge. We had a suite with 3rd bed for our 15 year old son which was too short and didn't provide adequate support. Wifi didn't work in our room but worked in the lobby where there is also a pc available for residents, which proved useful. A comfortable and clean hotel that we would use again. |

| Reception area was somewhat tired, and the night staff were not at the same standard as the day staff, but the room was of good standard, and teh location was excellent. Overall, very good value. |

| Tiny, tiny room. Clean, but old hotel. Bell staff were very helpful. Location is amazing! Stay here if you plan on enjoying Times Square as you will not want to spend time in your hotel room. |

| Althought the location of the hotel was excellent I found that the level of service wasn't very high and our room was onto a main street and next to a fire station so at times it was very noisey. The breakfast was quoted as $7 approx but we where chared $21 for just having two apples, two glasses of OJ and toast!!! When we called room service we often had to call a number of times untill our problem was resolved which. On more than one occasion the toilet over flowed and one time we were just handed clean towels but house keeping did not clear the mess! For over $2000 I found this service to be quite poor. Basically we payed for the location. |

| Good location but rooms quite small and poorly furnished. Facilities rather limited relative to price - wifi network only available in lobby which has no powerpoints. Suitable for tourists but not for travellers on business. |

| Smallish room, but I have stayed in smaller, so the size wasnt anything to complain about. Clean, simple, great service, charming decor. Bathroom water pressure wasnt that very strong, but everything else was wonderful, especially considering most places dont get much cheaper than this without having to share a bathroom. Literally one minute walk to Times Square. Incredible location!!! Especially for the price. Close to restaurants, shopping, hop-on hop-off buses, in the middle of broadway. A few blocks from NBC studios/Rockefeller Plaza. 10-15 minute walk to Madison Square Gardens. The Best Western President Hotel New York was unbelievable value for money and I will go back to The Best Western President if I go to NYC again. I would and have recommended this hotel to anyone wanting good value and good location. A+++ |
