It was central to Auckland's downtown areas. Its cleanliness was suspect. The room was small and smelled of sweat and Indian food and it did not get better even after opening windows and letting it air out. The internet was expensive and didn't work in our room - and the staff didn't seem to care either. Their solution was to use their computer kiosk, which negates the point of having in-room internet to me.

Shower was very poor. The restaurant seating and layout is more like a back street cafe, although the food ,at breakfast, was very good.

Hotel is relatively clean. Hotel staff is horrible, very unfriendly and rude. I asked for towel, they made me walk to front desk to get it.

Right in the middle of everything. Spot on no great views but short walk to waterfront sky tower across the road. Great pubs short stroll. Rooms and linen spotless.

Had a very enjoyable stay here, the staff were excellent and very helpful day and night, the location is absolutely perfect, within perfect walking distance to all the major attractions, the link bus also stops right out front of the hotel for easy acces to other parts of the city. The only thing I didn't like was the buffet breakfast it was cold and wasn't very nice, we had it twice after the second time we went somewhere else for breakfast. But overall a great place to stay.

Slightly better than basic accommodation with a great central location. Internet access was pricey forcing a trip to a local internet cafe. I'd recommend this place for casual travelers who want to step up from a backpacker, but don't want/need luxury accommodation. It’s slightly nicer than a basic hotel. Pretty standard accommodation. Great central location for Downtown Auckland. I'd say it is a pretty good place for anyone looking for a clean, secure room in Auck for a few nights. Nothing fancy but certainly not a dump either.

Great location only meters from Queen st. I thought it was good value. Car parking is very tight but at $15 cheapest parking in City

Very central, lots of room in one bedroomed accomodation, no views, but close to tower, casino, lots of restaurants, basic shops. 10 minute walk to harbour and front, less to main shopping area. Reasonable price for larger accomodation, OK for family. Unfortunately, rooms outdated, needs modernising, worn furniture, main beds good, but bed setee worn out, small old TV's. Bathroom grubby. Small kitchen area to make snacks, not really for cooking for kids etc. Average price, basic value for money, warning, we were annoyed as when we arrived in the morning, (I know official check in wasn't until 2:00pm), we were going to leave our cases and go for lunch, look around, then we just asked if the room was ready, other hotels have always allowed us into our accomodation if it was ready no problem, what difference does it make to them? This one wanted an extra $30. If you want basic it is OK, Luxury no way!

Good for a one night stopover. Spacious rooms but sparse decor. Helpful staff. The restaurant did not meet my need so I went elsewhere. Great location for a short visit.

The hotel was in a great location ,walking distance to shops, restuarants and some attractions. The only disappointment was that the room we stayed in was very noisey at night. We think it was because the windows not closing properly. Staff were friendly.

This place was very basic to say the least and clean ish but there was a distinct smell of urine in the bathroom. Facilities in the room were good however if your on a budjet you have a microwave, kettle and a fridge which can come in handy. Good location very near the sky tower.

Good quality hotel well above our expectations at the price we paid. What was the best part was this hotel is bang in the middl;e of Auckland and made everything easy to reach. Friendly and professionaly run. Retaurant good value.

Great location at an acceptable price. The room was small but we were only there to sleep.

Excellent hotel ... Great location ... Although the people working at reception were not nice at all ...

Basement car park can be further improved. One way traffic (in and out) through the same exit of the basement just seem to be quite dangerous sometimes. Otherwise the stay was reasonably good and comfortable.

1. No ventilating fan in the toilet. 2. No labels on the shower control to indicate hot or cold. 3. Hot water lasts 15 mins maximin.
