We arrived with about 30 minutes time before a business meeting. We decided to take a car from Wuxi to Yiwu so we would not be late to our meeting. The problem was the fare was 2200 RMB and we used up our available RMB. We checked in and said that we needed to exchange some USD for RMB. We were told they would not exchange money until the next day. I said you don't understand. We have no RMB. If you can not exchange USD where can we go to exchange USD? She said she could not help us to come back tomorrow. The bellboy told us where there was a BOC so we alked their and got RMB. When we were ready to go to our meeting we exited the front of the hotel and told the bellboy we needed a taxi. He told us he didn't think he could get us a taxi. So I walked into the street and got a taxi. Tonight I ate in the western restaurant. I ordered a steak medium. After explaining pink and no more than 70% cooked I was served a well done steak. When I asked why it was cooked to death I was told that I ordered it that way. I said how exactly did I order it and was told that I ordered it medium well. I said I have never in my life ordered a steak medium well. The manager walked off. We are checking out in the morning. Enough is enough.
