This was the worst travel experience that we have ever had! The unfriendly staff & poor customer service of this hotel was beyond anything we could have imagined. We arrived at the hotel to be told by the front desk staff that we had canceled our reservation. The staff was very unwilling to help us, unfriendly and seemed to care less that it was their mistake! They didn't even apologize once they figured out their mistake. We had other guests approach us to tell us they were checking out early due to the poor service and quality of the hotel. We ended up staying somewhere else & cut our vacation short because of the horrible experience at Best Western Posada Real.

This was our second time staying at the Posada Real. We enjoyed it even more than the first. The accomadations are nothing fancy, but more than satisfactory. We don't find a need to leave the hotel anymore. We get up, have a nice buffett breakfast, change in to our swimsuits and spend the day in the pool or on the beach. Lunch is served in your lounge chair on the beach, or at the bar. After spending the day on the beach, we showered and headed down to the bar, then to the dining area. It's a nice quiet place, yet enough of a party that there isn't a need to go to a bar in Cabo. We will be going back.

What a surprising property, we expected that because this place was so inexpensive we had better have very low expectations, and we were pleasantly surprised everywhere. We are Los Cabos regulars, and had stayed at this hotel 10 years ago right after it had been remodeled. It was not an all-inclusive then, and the food at the restaurant was not very good, however we did remember the property itself was clean and comfortable with incredible service. Although not the swankest place you'll ever stay at. (Hey, after all it is a Best Western.)The service is still some of the best you will ever find!! From the waiters to the housekeepers. The property could now probably use a coat of paint here and there, but overall is in pretty good condition. We were amazed how good the food was! They have a small buffet area, (this is a small hotel, 100 rooms) so the choices are somewhat limited, but we always found something at every meal that we raved about, and had seconds (sometimes thirds) of! The poolside snack bar has great tacos, sandwiches and burgers for middle of the day muchies. Although all of the house liquors at the bars was pretty low quality, once you mixed them into a cocktail they did just find. Tecate was the beer on tap and was always cold and even served in a frosty mug in the lobby bar. (A first in MX for me).The room was larger than we remembered and the bed was actaully comfortable, but a little firm. Excellent, large bacony with a view to the ocean from our second floor room. There is some limited live entertainment a few nights a week, but mostly relaxing, peace and quiet. For the money, this place can't be beat!

This hotel was a great deal for the price. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was for the cost per night. The beverages were included as well as the alcohol for one low price. The food was average at the restaurant and I recommend traveling a short distance to where you will find better food.

Posada Real Los Cabos is a great place to stay at a great price. The location is awesome, beautifully maintained, and a staff that is very attentive and aims to please. The meals, snacks and drinks were plentiful and excellent. The ONLY drawback was no alcoholic beverages until 10:00 A.M. (Hey, you're on vacation!) I will definitely stay there again.

I went on this 'mini' vacation to get away from Los Angeles. I didn't want to party at Cabos or be annoyed by anyone trying to hit on me. I just wanted to relax. For the price I paid, it was a good deal. I relax and relax at the pool and at the beach. Had a message done for 45 minutes. It was nothing but relaxation. All my needs were met at the hotel. I had breakfast, lunch, dinner, and plenty of drinks while relaxing. There was no need to go outside the hotel. The staff was great! Very helpful and polite. This hotel is not for a person wanting to party and party!!! The majority of the population on this hotel is either Mexican or Mexican American. The hotel is oriented for families with children. Now, if you go single and just want to plain and relax, then this is the hotel. It is very calm and quite. The food is like homemade. The drinks were good. The rooms were big. The computer/internet was useful along with the mini gym. This hotel spot is just plain and relaxing! This is also good for a couple who just wants to relax and relax at the beach and at the pool! I would go again by myself to get away from Los Angeles and away from the stress!!

This hotel is superclean, however it is the worst food we have ever had! The drinks are the cheapest booze you can buy. If you're looking to save some on food and drinks, don't, we ate out 90% of the time. Overall, I say good for the money.

The hotel was a bit tired - needs to be redone inside. I had really hoped for an ocean view, but looked out on a cactus garden. From my patio I only had to go about 10 steps to see the water. But the food was good and plentiful, the drinks a little weak but plentiful, and the service very good over all. I had a good time and would recommend it to anyone.

our room either had NO water or no hot water for our entire stay. Management didn't seem to care nor did Best Western corporate when I complained upon my return. Plus my bill was wrong & it has taken me 2 weeks of emails to straighten out. Staff is very nice & location is good but the place is a dump.

We went here for a family vacation with the kids. We had a blast. This is a great bang for your buck. The food was delicious and the alcohol was plentiful. The staff was very attenative and courtious. The room was clean and the bed was extra firm but comfortable. My husband and I are planning to take another trip to Los Cabos this up coming summer without the kids. We will be staying here, again. We loved our time here and look forward to our next trip back.

"The staff at this hotel were the best. Extremely attentive. Breakfast buffet and luncheon meals (poolside) were excellent, dinner not so much. Be aware that at this time of year, red flags mean no swimming at the beach. Disappointing and unexpected, but others with tropical fish and snorkeling close by. Overall, we would definitely return. Low key and relaxing. For partyers, no night life. For families, great together time though."
