We used for overnight stay only.

I liked where the hotel was located. There was very little parking and the spots were extremely small.

The hotel was alright. The staff was nice. I will come back.

For $71 bucks a night my expectations weren't very high. The front desk was friendly and the room was not awful... We checked in at 1am and left at 9:30am so it was a very short stay. The only serious negative is a bar located in the hotel draws a rowdy crowd and we had to deal with some drunks in the parking lot acting stupid. I probably would not stay there again, but for one night and the low price it works.

Good location, right downtown, lots of places to eat. Rooms are older, continental breakfast a choice of one item and inconvenient. While the hotel was average in just about every way, it did not fit with those in the same star rating that I have experienced previously. The hotel is in a great location, but certainly has some wear and tear to it. Although no one goes for a continental breakfast, people should be aware that you get one item and a small drink, which needs to be retrieved by a waitress.

The door to our room didn't shut or lock without slamming it several times. The mini-fridge that used to be there was removed. The coffee pot was missing (the rest of the coffee maker was there). The bathroom door didn't stay shut, and it was missing a huge piece on the bottom. The water in shower was never hot, and sometimes wasn't even warm.

The coffee maker is not easy to use.

The rooms were great because of size. Similarly the bathrooms. The staff was very helpful. The Inn was a very nicely situated in this college town. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, bedroom, and bathroom alike. We had a very enjoyable time. My wife particularly liked the pool.

Good for the cost. Could use a little cleaning in the lobby and hall ways

Visiting relatives in the area. Location was very convenient. Room was very clean only thing wrong was no refrigerator or microwave. Traveling with small child so we had to keep getting ice and warming bottle under hot water. Pool was big but the only thing wrong was the water was cloudy and too much clorine was added making your eyes hurt for a day or so. Don't thing I would stay again.

It did have wireless available at no extra charge. The person was rude at check in. She barely answered my questions. She cared less that we were staying at her hotel. Located in a small town off I-80. The hotel is nothing fancy. The room was clean although quite dated. This was a quite old facility located in the downtown of this small town. The parking for the facility was on a parking lot in a not well lighted area behind the hotel. I did not feel that this was secure at all. We were quite happy to get out of town with all of our belongings in the car.

Hotel Room was confortable even though we spent most of the time out. everything we needed was supplied. The breakfast service was slow but it didn't really bother much. Overall it was a good stay at this Hotel.

This hotel is in a great location. It's quiet. The room was enormous as was the bathroom. The bathroom was spotless.

Good location. It is very old, run-down, and smell bad. This is not a good place to stay. Keep away from it.

This hotel was a joke, which is a shame because it's in an ideal location. First off, the parking situation. There is a lot in the back for the hotel, but it seems to be municipal parking. We had to sit and wait for 1/2 hour at night for someone to leave so we could simply park the vehicle. And the room, what a let down. We've stayed at luxurious hotels for what we paid here. And while we weren't really expecting the royal treatment, it would have been nice if the room had been clean. I felt skeevy in this place...the bed was gross and we felt as though we had to wear flip flops in the shower. It was one of those places that you just can't wait to leave. All in all, we were disappointed. It has the potential to be great but is severly dated. If they put some money into updating the rooms/bathrooms, I'm sure it would make a world of difference. As for the parking, purhaps a garge is in order.

Great staff!!! Very "understanding" and helpful. We are young 22-26-yrs-old friends and the hotel was in a perfect location. We were in town for a wedding a ended up having a lot of fun downtown. We went to the bar downstairs besides brownie (great band!!!!) and cheap drinks. Rooms were clean. Parking is free. Free wi-fi! A steal for $80!

It was nice, clean and tasty. We received good tips from staff about dinning and traveling in the area. The air conditioner was very loud and the outside of the hotel use a little refacing. There was a smell of cigarettes in the lobby. Overall, we liked our stay very much. The food was good, staff was friendly and helpful. A little more attention to details could make our stay better. A.C that is less noisy, no smoking near the lobby and maybe more staff at breakfast (so food will arrive a little faster). Thank you very much.

I was looking for a place where I could get away for a few days. I looked at a number of hotels and settled on the Pocono Inne Town for location more than anything. Boy am I glad I did! The150+ year old hotel is in the heart of a quaint town. The hotel boasts several resturants and pubs. And its not just for tourists either. You know a hotel resturant is good when you see locals in there every morning. Good food. Friendly staff. Clean, comfy rooms. Great location. Safe and secure. Parking was a bit tight, especially on the night they had a banquet. But I always found a parking space. Not the fanciest, not the most "high class", not the newest. But a great "home away from home" atmosphere...just what I'm looking for on a getaway vacation. I would, and WILL, return.

Hotel was fine, nothing was bad, nothing blew me away either, but then again I wasn't staying here for the ammenities, I was staying because of its location. I do think the price was a bit much even if it is a saturday, I mean I'm staying in stroudsburg, not Miami. I checked the prices of some of the other hotels in the area and this hotel was in line with the rest. I just think these hotel owners are crazy asking this much for a room. I understand the poconos are a tourist attraction but again, these prices are like big city prices. They aren't completely outrageous but I just think they're a bit steep.

Friendly, great price, comfy beds. Good restaurant for breakfast. Lobby carpets were not very clean. Great value. We were delightfully surprised at how comfortable and clean the rooms were. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great and the restaurant staff was friendly, too. They even had free newspapers!
