My trip was to visit my Dad at MD Anderson cancer center for a few days. Your hotel was very convenient and the shuttle service a plus.

It had just been redone and was very clean. The hall going to the rooms was very narrow. We were disappointed that the shuttle to the hostile did not run on the weekend was our only complaint.

I am very happy with my stay in this hotel. The room was perfectly clean. The front desk service was fast and good. The breakfast provides enough options. The only thing I didn't like that much was the underground parking lot since it is kind of small, but in the heat of Houston it is great to park underground. I enjoyed my stayed since Best Western's staff did make my stay easy. I would stay there again for sure.

Very convenient for medical center hospitals, Reliant Stadium & downtown (via MetroRail) as the MetroRail stop is just a block east of hotel. Rooms were clean and adequate, on the small side. We stayed during the annual Rodeo and the rates they charge during this time are quite high for the quality of this hotel.

Room has several things in need of repair (clock radio and wall outlet). Someone called the room every 5 minutes looking for someone (obviously not in the room) and only speaking spanish. I called the front desk to complain, getting no answer the first time (11pm). The second time, someone said they knew about the problem and would take care of it, but did not. I had to pull the plug on the phone. To the hotel's credit, they gave me a free night's stay at any Best Western for my trouble. However, I don't think I will try this hotel again.

I really like the location. And the price. Breakfast bar was just ok at best. The hotel staff was great! The room was very clean. And the location was wonderful. I would stay here again for short term stays.

On four occasions, I called the hotel, twice from hospital, and twice from room. I went downstairs to be told by the desk clerk, I was busy. I was calling from the hospital because they offer a shuttle service. needless to say it is useless if they don't answer the phone !!

We visited to meet treatment needs at hospitals. The location can not be beaten. Very convenient to Texas Childrens Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Hospital. Facilities were clean and continental breakfast was a great value. Pool is indoors and has an accompanying whirlpool which helps to relax. Fitness facility was poor. Only 3 machines and a tv. However, you can get your aerobic work done nicely. There is good dining all around this location. The facility is a "light rail" train ride away from Reliant Stadium. An excellent choice for games and events like Texans NFL games. Given our circumstances, we will definitely use again.

Being from the San Antonio area and unfamiliar with the Houston downtown Medical Center, the staff was helpful in directing me in the right direction of the hospitals. I was able to leave my vehicle in the parking lot and walk to where I needed to go without having to add the cost of parking as well. The staff was helpful in that I checked out early in the morning and was able to leave my mother sleeping in the room till a more reasonable hour while I conducted business. Staff was willing to assit you any way they could.

The receptionist at the counter tried to charge us more then what we paid Online Travel Website when we booked online. due to the fact that I complained she changed her mind. We probably won't stay there again because the beds were too hard. If you don't have a good night sleep in can be hard on you the nexst day.

The hotel entrance and exit was not convenient for automobiles. There is no evening in hotel dining. The immediate neighborhood was not conducive for walking, though I did for 2 evening meals at nearby restuarants.

Close to the hospitals. Beds are hard. My dad was in the hospital in Houston. I needed to book for one more night and they did not have any more rooms. I had to find another motel. Not happy.

I had to cancel my reservations with this hotel. I called them directly because of the location near to my Cancer center. When I canceled, whoever took my cancelation gave me my confirmation number as the cancellation number. When I questioned him about it, he said that that was the cancellation number too. When I went to dispute the charge with my credit card company they said I had nothing to fight with because the numbers were the same. I contacted Best Western directly and they said the same thing. I tried to contact this hotel to speak with them and the manager repeatly refused to return my calls. I will be in Houston again, but I will never book with this hotel again.

If you're in and out for medical work this is as convenient as any of the hotels at the cheapest rate. If I'm going to spend over $200 on a room--I'd just as soon be on vacation. For strict business and medical purposes--this is the mose economical choice as it's substantially less than some of the other options.

It's at the center of everything. The staff members are not very helpful; the accounting department is not friendly. Nice location but poor service.

Very good location if your there for going to the hospital for any reason. Walking distance to Baylor clinic, MD Anderson and others. Landry room for the long stay. Main street has many places to eat if you travel south from the hotel. Not all listed in the hotel directory so you need to go look for yourself. Dollar value compared to other hotels around is good. What ever you do dont reserve on aol. I paid more for the room I reserved and didnt get the room I requested either. Plus I made a mistake of not printing out my reservation conf # so I have nothing to go back on.

Free high speed internet as well as microwave and refrigerator present in the room. The bedding, towels and furniture were below satisfactory. Maybe this was indicative of the type of hotel that it was. I've never stayed at a B. W. This hotel is good, if you just need a quick place to stay and easy access to the Houston Medical Center. If you need an affordable hotel in this location, I would prefer someplace like the Spring Hill Suites in the Medical Center. The environment is much nicer and more comfortable.
