I had a good stay at the Best Western Pine Springs inn, Ruidoso. I like the location and accessibility of the hotel to the main highway with a view of the ruidoso race track. The hotel staff were friendly. The registration process went smoothly. The room was bigger than I expected. The yard was well maintained. I also like the hot tub. The pool could have been heated up a little bit. Overall, the hotel is good for a weekend romantic getaways.

No traffic. The power pole in front of our room hummed all night. Very friendly employee working in breakfast area. Made you feel at home. Rooms were straighted up and supplies replenished daily.

Room was large and appeared renovated; decor was OK. Three main problems: 1) Quilt on bed was ratty, towels and washcloths were paper-thin, and the pillows were meager 2) Motel staff was extremely unknowledgeable -- never heard of a online travel GoodBuy pre-pay and wanted to charge us twice plus could not provide any sightseeing advice because the staff hadn't ever visited the neighboring attractions! For example, they could not tell me what the road was like going to Cloudcroft or how long it took because they had never gone there. (Turns out the road was wonderful and the drive very scenic - photographed deer and wild turkeys on the way.) 3) No scenic views from hotel although the website picture was very pretty. I do have one kind word however; on the weekends they served the most wonderful homemade biscuits and sausage gravy as part of the free breakfast!

Everything specially the continental breakfast was way more than expected. I liked the location, next to wal - mart and the friendliness, clean and the even the staff offered us to use the indoor pool of their next hotel, because it was cold for the outdoor pool.

Excellent location across from the horse/track. Located on a hill with Pine trees surrounding. Room was extra large with a comfortable bed. I would definitiely recommend this hotel.

Clean rooms, spacious, goo staff, signs of making improvements to facility. Not enough pillows, poor quality pillows. Very nice economical place to stay. I liked the courtyard room with good view of mountains.

Lovely setting, but steep hill to facility. In winter chains or snow tires may be needed.Large, well maintained rooms.Helpful staff. Well set up for pets.Comfortable beds.

The hotel is set in the mountains and has a breathtaking view. Nothing! The hotel was beautiful and could not ask for better service. They exceeded our expectations!

I brought a large group of people to the Pine Springs Inn, and they made me SO proud the group is coming BACK!!! They loved the remote setting, the lack of traffic noise and the security! The staff was MORE than polite and very helpful, they need to hire older kids, but the ones they have are competent.I'll be more than happy to meet all my friends back here......the location is perfect, the setup is perfect and the prive is SUPER!!! I've paid more than this at lesser motels and I'll never go back.I love the Pine Springs Inn!!

Very nice staff that allowed the group to grab breakfast before opening hours for our trip. I personally don't like hotels with outdoor entrances for each room. It was great. I would go back. It is not a fancy or romantic hotel, but it gave me and my friends a place to sleep and refresh ourselves.

The room was very clean. The hot tub was broken. It is located in a nice area of Ruidoso. It has a great view. The staff was very nice and check out wasn't till noon.

The location is very romantic. The water was cold in the shower. Great room, all the amenities, romantic location, and friendly staff. But there was no hot water in the shower in the morning. Second stay at this hotel and both times no hot water.

My kids get to play in the snow their at the hotel. Did not like hills to get into the hotel during ice/snow. The hotel and room were very nice. We had to ask for extra pillows and towels for our room. I think another waffle maker would have been nice.

The location & all the trees and grassy area in middle of hotel. I wish the continental breakfast went until 10am. It was in a pretty location off of the highway, and surrounded by trees and mountains. The little grassy courtyard type area in the middle was also nice with swings, benches and trees.

Beautiful view of the forest from the doorway. For the price, the Best Western Pine Spring Inn is a good hotel. It is set back from the road and is attractively designed.

Very peaceful. Everything was superb. Enjoyed my stay here. Everything was wonderful. The room was very spacious.

Beautiful location! There was a big family reunion being held at the hotel, so we couldn't really enjoy the beautiful peaceful scenery. Other than that, it was great! BIG room with fridge and microwave. Would definitely stay there again!
