Hotel is a bit away from beach but rooms have a good view. Small restaurants and shops within easy reach at 200 yards. Hotel staff very friendly. Food good and a selection of Thai or Western styles available. Shower facility was in bathtub and slippery. Our room was deluxe on lower floor. Other floors higher up requre some climbing. There were no shops in hotel.

Great view and peaceful. Steps to the room. I am very like this hotel and the location, which is not too busy and center of everything. I decided to extend my stay for more. Make sure get the room with the view and it worth's every your dollars.

Old resort in the best location on the lagoon with some ocean views as well. Excellent buffet breakfast included. Friendly staff. We have been here twice, and would go again.

It was our honeymoon, and the best experience we could possibly ask for. We were quite suprised at such beauty and lush garden settings at this Best Western. We come from Los Angeles... nothing like the traditional Best Westerns at all. 3 clean and sparkling pools, nice bungalows with fresh white paint and chocolate wooden trim. It is advisable to ask for a room near the pool.. this was our favorite, but if you are willing to hike up a long flight of stairs, the view on the very top level is absolutley gorgeous and worth it!. I believe all rooms come with a balcony so you can't loose with that. And PLEASE ask for a Mai Thai when you are at the bottom pool. They take a while to make it but believe me.. It is darn tasty and made with love! Our package came with the American Breakfast Buffet. They had tasty egg choices, fresh bacon and a nice variety of starches, veges and fruits. They even add Thai traditional dishes just in case you like to try something new for breakfast. The food was very good. Management is amazing. Im sorry that I forgot his name but he is the nicest man on earth. Extremley professional and helpful. Everyone had a smile for us! Make sure you return it, they treat the nice guests like family. And if you are unsatisfied with something, give them a chance, they will genuinley try to help. GREAT PEOPLE! We hated to leave....

The Best Western needs to change it's name.. No water pressure in shower..Mosquitos in fest room. Every time I'd go back to my room it was like climbing mount Everest... Major Mildew problem in my room. felt unhealthy...Left 3 days early because of my discomfort.

"This hotel didn't fully honor my reservation. I'd booked two rooms, (one for myself, wife, and daughter, and one for my sister-in-law).When we arrived, (after 33 hours of travel from the US west coast) we were told that they were over-booked and they only had 1 room. They said they'd have a second room the next day, (and they did). But the only reason My sister-in-law had a place to sleep was because she shared with us.Sorry, but this is completely unacceptable for a pre-paid room."

"I was a bit skeptical, as Best Western in the U.S. doesn't have a great reputation, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean, very attractive, and in a great location - with friendly service and an okay restaurant. The only cons: no internet in the rooms (only terminals in the lobby, pay-per-minute); the hotel is arranged with lots of stairs, may be difficult for those with mobility problems. But overall, very pretty, highly recommended."
