Hotel was conveinent for the one day trip. Most hotels want a 2 night stay and this hotel allowed one night stays and very affordable. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are cozy. Great restaurant called the Taproom, about 2 minutes from the hotel. Restaurant is kid friendly and foods is excellent.

Two hours after checking out of our room, we realized our credit card was missing and could have left it in our room. We immediately returned to the hotel to search for it and it was quickly handed to us at the front desk by the friendly personnel. The housekeeper had turned it in to the management as soon as the card was found. We were elated as it made for such a happy ending to a nice weekend. We will not hesitate to return to a hotel that has such a caring and honest staff. We hope others are as fortunate as us if they were in this situation.

If you want to visit Solvang, CA(Danish villiage).I found a lavender farm in this area. I definitely will visit this town in July this year.

I liked this hotel. The people were friendly it is next to restaurant. Walls were thin, but it turned out to not be a problem. I liked that they had a cute putting green, the spa and pool stayed open late. It is really close to the Central Ca. wine country and the freeways. I would stay here again.

I love the restaurant....I love the spaciousness of the room...I love the fact that they accept smokers...I love the cleanliness Nothing. This is a great place to stay good food in the restaurant clean, comfy rooms...welcome feeling for smoking customers. All around fun.

When I visit this area, I usually stay in Solvang. However, I am now converted to overnighting in Buellton and especially this Best Western. The room was great--fairly large, very clean and bright. It was also good value for the money. The only forewarning: no bath amenities are furnished so bring your own shampoo. There is some liquid soap in the shower but it's very harsh on hair. Also: management turns the outdoor jacuzzi off promptly at 10 p.m. and shooes everyone out. Location was good, and a big plus was being able to walk to Pea Soup Andersen's next door.

The room we were given was not cleaned properly. There were M&M packaging in the corner of the bed which had not been removed. The bedisde drawer was sticky to the touch. The continental breakfast was very cheap nothing much there. The other room that we had booked at the same time was not in a very good condition either. The sliding door to the bathroom could not slide shut.

Pea Soup Anderson's Best Western was very comfortable, the room was a good size and I was on the first floor with a sliding door to the pool area. Check in was very friendly and went out of their way to ensure I was satisfied. The exterior of the building was the only thing that seemed a little rundown, but the interiors were great. Great location if you are looking to wine taste in the area.

The location was near lots of fun places and a great restaurant. The hotel had a nice front desk attendant that was helpful with giving us directions. The room was spacious and there was internet, cable TV and an ok continental breakfast.

Late check in with no problems - Room was clean, warm and comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and knew the area well enough to recommend some very nice places to eat and fun things to do.

The court yard was great although my time was too short to take advantage of it. No news paper available on Sunday morning not even to purchase, and had to ask for decaf coffee for the room. Simple, basic, clean and recently refurbished. Night clerk at check-in told me there would be news papers at front desk by 6:00 am, was at desk by 6:30 am and manager informed me they don't get news papers on Saturday or Sunday which disappointed me.

Spacious, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast did not include any healthy options. Overall everything was great and was close to Solvang where we spent most of our time, and it saved us money to stay 6 minutes out of the way!

Great customer service from Front Desk staff. On both mornings, Housekeeping staff used up a table in the already- small breakfast gazebo and GOSSIPED about each other. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They gladly changed our room location and assigned us a room with a patio rather than a balcony (for easy access to the pool). They provided info regarding good restaurants nearby. Lastly, my husband was extremely grateful for the new batteries for the TV remote.

Spacious rooms, quiet environment. Dinning availability. I'm glad I booked this hotel, in fact, my focus of this trip was on Solvang, which was stone throw away from this location. Compare to Solvang site pricing.

The location is perfect and surprisingly the pillows were great. The room is veer bare and generic. A great place for the price. Located just outside Solvang and of course the Pea Soup at the restaurant is a must. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were great. The room accommodated my husband and 12 & 15 year olds very comfortably.
