no view of downtown Pittsburgh; and the pool was like an afterthought. The hot tub: the blow-up kind, in a corner of the room where the pool is; and it was being 'cleaned' when we were there. The cocktails (3) per adult in room, were in those tacky plastic cups you get in your room, and not really a bar, just some bottles, and an old guy counting your drinks on a bit of paper. Pretzels and chips.... could have been a bit better for the room price. Overall, okay, but getting from there to anywhere else was a bit trying, with the traffic thru tunnel a bit timely.. still, would stay again if we went and couldn't find a better hotel for the price.

Room was very large and very clean. Shuttle service. Shower area was a little small. Some areas could use updating. We were very pleased with this motel for the price. Our room was very spacious and exceptionally clean. The staff was very polite and helpful. The shuttle service was fabulous. We went to watch the Pens in the Stanley Cup finals and didn't have to worry about driving to the arena, parking or getting back to the motel which made the win even more enjoyable.

I was recently in Pittsburgh and wanted an affordable hotel room for a night. And what a bargain. This hotel was as good as any Hyatt I have stayed in previously. The fitness center was an actual fitness center in an adjacent building and was better than my YMCA. The breakfast was great. The hotel has a shuttle service that was equivalent to a taxi and willing to take me to any part of the city and pick me up at any time I choose and the driver was very forthcoming with the good and bad points of the city. While the hotel is outside the downtown area, the hotel van got me into the heart of the city in 10-15 minutes. There was a computer center (free of charge) in case you forget your laptop. The staff was very accomodating answering any question. And I forgot to mention the happy hour with 3 free drinks! So if you are going to Pittsburgh, it would probably be a mistake to stay at any place other than this hotel. This experience is one of my top 3 stays. I just wish all Best Westerns were as good.

The hotel was not hard to find and parking was good. The staff at the hotel was nice and helpful. The hotel lobby was clean and orderly and not congested. Going to our room we felt that the hallways were getting smaller as we went (kinda like the Alice in Wonderland with the doors) our room was a little small compared to the price we paid. We've stayed in bigger rooms for less money. But the room was clean and we had free internet access. Overall it was ok. We would stay there again.

Great staff, very close to a lot of attractions, and one at a very good price. Clean rooms, easy parking, nice freindly staff. I would recommend this hotel to freinds and family.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very nice and roomy. We checked in at 5:00 and were pleasantly surprised that there was a happy hour from 5-7. We were only there overnight but would definitely stay again the next time I'm in Pittsburgh.

Room was smaller and not as nice as my last trip. The employee at the check-in desk was not that friendly. Other than that I will continue to stay at this hotel for my business trips to Pittsburgh.

Hole in ceiling, door had appearance of being broken into. Back in corner of hotel. Very scary! There was a hole in the ceiling around the sprinkler. We tried to us the pool, but we had to go through a parking garage into another part of the building to find it had closed 2 hours early. There was not continental breakfast by the time we had left at 7:00am. The building was not clean. For over one hundred dollars I expected what was advertised. I had a two year old traveling with me and I did not feel safe.

It was okay, not exactly what I had expected. The shuttle service was decent but they did leave us stranded 1 night after saying that they were on their way. Just wish they would be more up front about any delays. NO WATER in the rooms for 1 day- happened to be on the day of the game, had to shower in the adjacent gym. Most of the desk staff was unpleasant and not too helpful. Had to find a cleaning lady to get me the maintenance person to help me find my contact that went down the drain. But I had called or went down to the front desk every hour and was told each time that maintenance was not in yet. But the cleaning lady brought him in 5 mins. Thank goodness for her!

I stayed at this hotel over 10 years ago so when I had to travel to Pittsburgh for my new company I decided to stay here again. I wasn't dissapointed. The room was large and clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. I definately will stay here again.

Hotel is a older, but they make up for it! PROS - happy hour (3 free drinks pp), continental breakfast, free shuttle service, majority of staff is friendly, business center (we worked on an offer for our house while there-free faxing, printing), free wireless, easy to get downtown and to airport. CONS - We felt our room was extremely small for the price, the wireless was slow and not reliable, traffic to get into city weekday mornings, restaurants are not very close (but can get delivered), make sure room door closes tightly (old doors - don't lock completely unless door is pulled/pushed closed)

This hotel was close to the city a little confusing to find but we called the front desk and they helped us find it. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The cocktail hour was great, you got three free drinks per person. The rooms were clean. The pool was a little small but very nice also. I would definatly stay at this hotel again.

The beds and pillows were great. Afew of my friends have better hot tubs than this place. Over all the hotel was great, friendly staff and clean rooms. The hot tub looked like it should be in some ones back yard and not in a hotel.

The beds were so comfortable I slept for twelve hours straight through! We went with two young children. Checked out the swimming pool and hot tub; the pool and facilities were heated and very clean. The beds were so comfortable I fell asleep before I could check out the nightclub upstairs. And, they were offering 3 free drinks during happy hour to all hotel guests. The morning breakfast had a good variety and was well stocked. Would definitely stay there again.
