While in Scottsdale I attend a Seminar that lasted a week. After dinner, I returned to a clean and restful room. The hotel was centerally located, restful and clean.

Convenient to Scottsdale rd and a buffet. Nothing negative to say. I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel. The rooms were very comfy. Everything was spotless, even the coffee pot, which is sometimes not ready for use when I travel. The maid service tidied up everything even though I said I didn't need service. There is a buffet next door in the strip mall. The Christmas ambiance was perfect, with a tree in the gazebo. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

This hotel has its own little paradise. There was a wonderful swing I could have sat in all day, just listening to the birds they keep out side. If you are stressd and need to relax their courtyard is the place to do it. It was very clean. The beds were not only there to give you a great nights sleep they looked so inviting. My husband forgot something in the room,they mail it to us right away after we notified them. A great location for family vacation. Afar cry from other hotels we have stayed in. Great value also.

Close to Papago Brewery. The air-conditioning did not work! Old hotel that they are trying to squeeze some more money out of. Facility in need of repairs. I would not stay at this hotel again under any conditions.

I just stayed here one night. The rooms have been remodeled and hte bed are confortable. It has some amenities of more expensive hotels. My big mistake was having a room near the office. There is a lounge/bar next to the lobby and the patrons and office staff were smoking and drinking and talking loud outside my door until the wee hours of the morning. It advertises a restaurant on site and that's true, except the restaurant is only opened for 3 hours in the morning. There is assigned parking and it's not a good neighborhood for Scottsdale. There was an all night massage parlor right next ot it that had some unsavory characters hanging out the door all night. The room was very nice, but as a single woman traveling to visit family alone, I felt a little uneasy the whole time. For such an inexpensive price, I would stay there again if I was traveling with someone else.

The neighborhood is a little odd; for example, the parking lot we used shares space with a massage parlor, and there's a sign posted warning car thieves that a decoy car may be in the parking lot. We had mixed feelings about that! There's also a shopping center right next to the hotel grounds; it's more of a giant mini-mall, if that makes sense: No big retailers. We found a pub within a short walk that serves many dozen different specialty brews, although they do not brew them on the premises. The room was very clean and nicely appointed. You access the rooms via open walkways (not enclosed hallways) which all face inward toward a lovely lush, green courtyard. The restaurant was small but uncrowded, the food at breakfast (not included with room) was very good. Service the first morning was rather slow (which one might not mind if one was there basically to relax); when we finally got our food, we asked the server to process our credit card while we ate because we were ending up in a time crunch; the next morning, however, he expedited our service without a word from us!

We were relocating from out of town and needed to stay in a hotel until our housing was available. We planned to stay about two weeks so we had a lot of luggage. There is no luggage cart to haul everything on, so we had to carry it in after moving all day long. The next morning we woke up to ants in the room. The staff asked us to switch rooms, so we had to haul everything by hand again to another room. The next morning there were ants. The staff accused us of bringing the ants into the hotel and were not willing to help us anymore. We had to live with the ants. We had to buy our own bug spray and kill the ants. When I say ants, I mean at least 100 were crawling on the walls everywhere. I would never stay at this hotel again because the hotel staff was inconsiderate and we still had to pay for the hotel room. Awful, awful, awful.

It was a great value for the price and very relaxing. The room was supplied with a counter top refrigerator, coffee maker, iron, blow dryer, 2 bath robes, free wireless broadband, and cable TV. Also, it had complimentary bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Plus in the courtyard, it had a bird aviary.

This Inn is conveniently located in Phoenix; close to the airport, zoo and shopping. Rooms are very clean. The courtyard area is immaculately groomed and includes an aviary, gazebo, pool and tropical plants. The restaurant food is good, but is unfortunately open only 7-10 am each day.

This quiet and well kept facility is conveniently located for getting to Phoenix and the eastern communities. It was clean, quiet and comfortable, the only complaint was the somewhat small rooms for more than 2 persons. It had a mini fridge and coffee maker. Would have been nice to have a microwave. The on site restaurant is only open for breakfast, but there are plenty of options within walking distance. The rate makes this property an exceptional value.

It's comfortable. Good amenities. Internet service available without additional cost. Our room included a tiny refrigerator, ironing board, blow dryer, and coffee maker. Although the bathroom was a little outdated but it's clean. For the amount we paid for, it was more than we got in return. Location was close to historical place, Old Towne in Scottsdale, and also close to Phoenix Airport.

The Best Western Papago is a very fine little resort, with a clean & spacious room, separate bathroom & vanity area supplied well with towels & toiletries, and a nice pool area. The staff was friendly and very accomodating. The location was central between the Phoenix Airport (about 5 miles away) and downtown Scottsdale. When I return, I would certainly stay here again.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was willing to assist when needed. I checked in at night and young man was polite and greeted me with a smile. During my stay, I was dealing with harricane Ike. Office assisted me with faxing items to my hometown and made it easier to deal with my situation.
