Hotel completely non smoking. A delightfully restored Georgian manor house in the peaceful Bedfordshire village of Aspley Guise. Every effort has been made to create a tranquil atmosphere and as you listen to the sound of the waterfall in the garden, it is hard to imagine you are only eight miles from the bustling centre of Milton Keynes which is only a 20-minute drive away. restaurantFood was excellent but kitchen service rather slow considering there were very few diners. We waited over 30 minutes for cold starters.

Best Western Moore Place Hotel Milton Keynes is set in a lovely village location and nice grounds. However the hotel rooms could do with a bit of a makeover. Although our room was deluxe, the only deluxe feature was a flat screen TV. I was dissappointed by the lack of light in the room and no mini-bar. Our room was free of charge through [your website] but reception still tried to charge us on checkout! For those attending weddings at Woburn Abbey, this is a convienient stay but service and facilities are at a minimal.

DisappointedWe were lead to believe this hotel was fully accessible, but on arrival were told the type of room we booked was on the second floor and the hotel had no lifts or chairlifts, as one of the party is a full-time wheelchair user. This was made very clear when the booking was first made. Why then didn't someone from the hotel ring to explain that the room type we booked was not accessible. Luckily there was one ground floor room left, although it was not to the standard we had originally booked, but still cost us the same. As this was a birthday treat, it was very disappointing. I would caution anyone booking site unseen, should contact the hotel directly and explain your needs/situation. Had we done this, we could have stayed at a Travel Lodge for the same the same quality of room for less expense, or somewhere nicer for the same price. The restaurant/food was nice enough, although many of the dishes on the menu were unavailable or not as described (since when was Black Forest Gateau made with strawberries???). Not to mention cooked breakfast was available for early risers on a Sunday. We definitely won't stay here again and will be more thorough in checking that hotels are as accessible as they are described on this website, amongst others. I think hotels need to be far more accurate when profiling their accommodation.

Very much a reps hotel. Breakfast excellent but dinner expensive and service very very slow. Check your bill carefully. Excellent Thai restaurant virtually next door.

Fabulous short stay venueMy partner and I stayed 2 nights, and the place is just lovely for a short stop over stay. Very comfortable, great cosy location, and excellent service - VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY!

I didn't have much time to use facilities, but for a quick overnight stay, it was fine. Infact, better than many I have stayed in.

DisappointedHaving stayed on a couple of occassions previously, I believe the quality and the size of the room I was given was poor in relation to the cost. Hot water took an age to come through and then went cold again in mid shower? However, my fault for not complaining, arrived late and left early therefore, did not have time to mention to teh staff, who were very pleasant.

OVER PRICED FOODHotel room was OK. Receptionists both arriving and leaving were excellent.Evening meal poor and service mediocre and slow. cost exorbitant.Breakfast was shameful with appalling service, so bad that management did not charge us the GBP 10 rip-off cost.

We will be back!Lovely hotel in a very pleasant setting/countryside.... excellent for visiting Woburn and surrounding area. Room had good access - we needed room for a wheelchair - although the bathroom was not fully accessible - had my wife been wheelchair bound she could not have used the facilities as no rails and only a bath. That said, the accommodation was good, although a little hot! Breakfast had a good variety of fayre, although the 'hot' options were not hot and kept warm in trays - but bacon and sausage were VG standard for hotel fayre. We would stay again.

Everybody very helpful and pleasant - corner room a little dark but otherwise very nice - would most certainly stay again - food superb and plates hot; which is most important!

Moore Place is a location I frequently stay at on my own for business. Convenient for the M1 and Milton Keynes etc. This particular trip was with my wife who is also my business partner. I traded up to an "executive room", but found it to be next to the main road, and with a small double bed. A poor decision - should have stayed with the cheaper rooms which are away from the road, and gone for a twin.Strongly recommend they should upgrade all executive rooms to at least a 5ft bed!

Have stayed here a number of times and the quality of the rooms is variable. Its worth paying the extra £10 for the upgraded rooms.

Good sized, comfortable hotel room. Receptionist was a bit abrupt, not very friendly/helpful.

The rooms are excellent and I could find no fault with them. However there are great problems in the dining room. There is difficulty in persuading someone to take your order and this is due to a lack of organisation at the top. The dinner menu is short and was unchanged the three times I stayed there.Often the food was cold and at the prices that are charged for both breakfast and dinner represent very poor value. It is a good place to stay but I would recommend anyone to eat out!

Excellent location. Very pretty, but convenient for M1 and city. Was offered a glass of mulled wine on return to hotel . Breakfast overprices, but all in all, lots of very nice features

Room was very small , was noisy as right next to road and because of the sound of the boiler coming on/off throughout the night - not a good night's sleep. Hotel grounds a bit scruffy, although to be fair the hotel is undergoing a refit.

Dinner was a disappointment, with delays in having my order taken and a long wait before it was served. When the food arrived it was cold, no excuse for a hotel of this standard.

Lovely hotel, great rooms, very very impressed. would definately stay again.

The hotel could do with checking what drinks/meals go on each room a bit more effectively as we had someone elses dinner bill on our invoice. This was quicly rectified but should not have been on there in the first place.
