This hotel is part of an international chain and within a block of the train station, the Swiss National Museum and several tram stops, but you'd never know. I had a fourth floor room with a shower (I was given a choice of shower or tub) that was good sized and clean. Breakfast is available daily consisting of cereal, breakfast breads, meats, eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, milk & juice. The only complaint I have, and it's minor, is the lack of English speaking TV stations. CNN International is available, but BBC would have been welcome (I was ill part of a day and stayed in). All in all a good stay and a good value. I'll probably stay here again next when I travel back to Western Europe.

Had to wait a couple of hours to get checked in. Staff said it was due to late check out of earlier guests. Not a big problem for us as we just went out and saw some sights while we waited. They did have a place for us to keep our bags, so that was convenient.

Good little hotel close to Zurich main station. Very handy to tram. Staff friendly and all spoke English. Our room over the street was quite noisy, but most of the rooms would have enjoyed the same street noise as the tour buses loaded and unloaded right under our window. Parking was expensive at $25 per night. We didn't know we would have to pay for parking when we make the booking, merely that parking was available for us! The room was comact, but clean and bright, as was the bathroom with a good shower (important when travelling). Breakfast was ample and tasty - also very important for the traveller - and included in the price. I would recommend this hotel and would happily return next time I come to Zurich.

The Montana is in a great location - a quiet neighborhood about one block from the main train station, and an easy walk to the historic and retail districts of Zurich. The beautiful, contemporary room was like those found in much more expensive boutique hotels. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great value for the money. We will certainly stay here again on a future visit to Zurich.

I have not complaints about the hotel, the room was clean and modern and the staff was very helpful. The only issue I had was with the restaurant, the food was excellent and the staff was great however the menu did not provide an english translation. I visited several other cities in Switzerland during my trip and this was one of the few restaurants that lacked an english menu. Other than that I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Zurich.

Location is 10 minutes walk from Zurich main train station, but nothing around the hotel. Street sounds was loud at night. We stayed in newly decorated room , which was nice. Breakfast was very good , plentiful .

The hotel is located near to the main train station which on first thought is great, but the street is actually quite busy. The windows did not keep the noise out and as a result neither me nor my wife or our friends in the room next door managed to get much sleep. Other than this, the hotel was nice, clean and the service was as expected for a budget hotel. Perhaps if you are given a room higher up or at the back of the hotel it would be fine... but try to avoid the front lower floors if you seek a good nights sleep.
