The decor was great and the room was very spacious, also enjoyed the refrigerator and microwave. Unsure how to get back to I 10 West, out of the way. The room and hotel surpassed my expectations.

"The hotel is not new, but is clean and comfortable. The restaurant is great! I have a new favorite hotel in Las Cruces."

I loved my stay at the Mission Inn. Their restaurant had a new menu w/ a lot of tasty dishes...i'd recommend the moroccon chicken. They also have a classy lounge where you can get a drink and not worry about raucous students..NMSU is nearby. And last but not least were their rooms...nice clean rooms with sheets and comforters you wouldn't expect at a Bestwestern.

Has New Mexico Character! This is a typical motel with added New Mexico character. The room we stayed in had been recently updated, yet kept, what I felt, very nice touches that stand out from your standard generic box-style motel room. For example, there was a nice tile design around the bedroom mirror and a nice tiled ledge along the wall where the head of the bed touches. The whole motel seems like an oasis of sorts and seemed very peaceful to me. My kids enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was nice, too, as it is served in the restaurant. For the free breakfast you can choose between four items and there is a selection for the kids, too. Overall a very nice place and I would recommend it to anyone who would like something a bit different from the typical and generic cookie-cutter motel that you see all over the place these days.

"tub in 1st room drained very slowly. we were moved to 2nd room and awoke to horrid smell. at least 8"" of sewage in tub! front desk unresponsive. we were late to business meeting. management moved us to suite, then charged us for it. I'll never stay at any best western again. "

Comfortable beds, clean bathroom, coffee in room, recently painted and up graded. All pigtail power saving bulbs. Very difficult to read by. Need brighter bulbs to be able to read in bed or at work table.

Good location. The stairs were right next to the room so you heard everybody coming up. The train came at I think 8pm at night and blew its whistle and then again at 5am in the morning. We were up both times but it would be very upsetting to be sound asleep and hear that! Too many kids running around outside the room.

Attractive southwest decor in room, good breakfast. Old windows in bathroom.

Best free breakfast. Ever. Perfect over medium eggs, hash browns, bacon. Great place! Big rooms, solid, comfortable furniture, friendly staff and (possibly the first time I've ever said). It got even better in the morning! The free breakfast was just so, spot on over medium eggs served by a cheery, efficient staff. If you've gotta be in Las Cruces, you might as well be here.

Price and location were great. The smell, you get used to it but it smells damp when you enter. Very friendly staff, great price and location. I would stay again at this hotel when visiting Las Cruces. The breakfast is great and the restaurant staff is very friendly.

A touch of New Mexico. Great for tourists. Air conditioner did not cool room and security non existant. Old motor lodge that has been dressed up.Not particularly comfortable and the air conditioning could only cool the room to about 80 degrees. There was no feeling of security. Restaurant had poor service and a mix of good food with soggy frozen vegetables.

The made to order breakfast was fast and good. The salsa was excellent. It was very old with some updated features, but some run-down things. This is a very old motel that they have tried to update. The carpet, tile, and bedding were fairly new; however the walls, stairs to second floor, and some of furniture was shabby and gave a poor impression. I would not want to stay here again. It was definitely not 2 1/2 stars.

The room decor was nice, authentic New Mexican. The room had not been cleaned from the previous traveler. Took 2 days for it to get completely cleaned. I was not usually a complainer. Give me a good bed, a quiet room with water, heat and electric and I was okay. I did not have a good experience here. I was checked into a room that had not been cleaned since the last tenant. Dirty towels, dirty sheets, used soap, etc. I complained to the front desk. The second day was not much better. Still used soap, no new soap, same sheets. They did make the bed and give new towels. The room smelled old. I thought if the room had been cleaned, I would have been okay with it. It still would have smelled old, but that kind of fit with the southwest decor. The room was large and roomy. Upon checkout, I was asked to pay extra for my pet. I mentioned that I didn't think I should have to pay extra since my room was not cleaned well, and they just took my money anyhow. So much for service.
