The hotel is a little off the beaten track. In Tully there are only a few restaurants and not much to do in the summer. We drove to nearby Homer for a day of antiquing and a bluegrass festival. One thing we found very helpful was a book of nearby restaurants broken down into 0-5 miles 5-15 miles etc. For many of the restaurants there was a menu and information on hours they were open. There was also a gas station/food mart and a pharmacy within walking distance. What impressed me the most about this hotel was that it was very very clean and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The was a free breakfast buffet with lots of choices. The lounge in the lobby was a gathering spot for many families. There was also a computer in the lobby and I think the rooms had wireless internet access. The one thing I really missed at this hotel was a pool either indoor or outdoor. We had a whirlpool room, but it just wasn't the same. Over all, we had a very nice weekend getaway and were pleased with the hotel. We would definately stay there again.
