We stayed here for a week of vacation. We loved it here. When we first checked at 2pm, we were told we could check-in, but the only available room was on the 2nd floor. The attendant told us if we came back around 4pm (their check-in time) we could get a much higher room. When we came back, we got a room on the 8th floor with a great view! We loved it here and had no problems at all during our stay! I'm definitely going back next year!

We were celebrating our Anniversary. We had a great time enjoying all the coast has to offer. We found some really good restaurants near the hotel that were not your typical tourist traps. We did some deep sea fishing and sight seeing in near by Port Aransas. The beach was within a short distance of the hotel and very nice for an evening walk. The staff at the hotel were all very nice and friendly with the exception of one older woman working the front desk. The free full breakfast offered with our stay was a great start to the day.

The free full breakfast was great. Saved us at least $30/day with our large family. The sticky floors in the bathroom/dressing area. Would be nice to have carpet in dressing area. We've stayed here a least 3 times and have always been satisfied. We've also stayed a the Omni's down the road and had the same enjoyable experience, only a lot cheaper. The beds are very comfortable! The only thing lacking is room service and small elevators, but there are lots of restaurants near by walking distance.

The reviews on this site helped us pick this hotel. Thanks to all who posted. We found the hotel, neat, clean and quiet. The staff was helpful and pleasant to deal with. We especially liked the two women who took care of the breafast buffet. The buffet had lots of food choices. The view from the 11th floor diningroom was beautiful. The location was convenient. We'd go back there.

I had to cancel a surprise romantic getaway due to bad weather. The hotel staff was VERY helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. They helped me receive a full refund. I plan on taking a trip to Corpus later this year and will definitely stay here - so long as another hurricane doesn't pop up.

The hotel is in a great location, rooms were clean with great views of the bay. The free breakfast was a nice start for the day with great panoramic view from the top floor. Only complaint..... the 100% free non-smoking policy was not enforced. It was one of the reasons I chose this hotel.

I booked a room for the weekend at the Marina Grand. It was all that the site said. We had no surpises. Check in was extremely smooth. A school ROTC was there as well, when my husband double-checked that we would have a peaceful stay. The clerk checked to make sure they were not on our floor. We were the floor below and we didn't hear a peep. The family enjoyed the awesome view from our hotel. We attended a wedding at the OMNI, about 3 blocks away. Our room was bigger, the view of the marina much better and FREE breakfast for about $* a night cheaper. The staff was very quick to attend to our needs(pillows, light going out). They were also very helpful in finding a hair salon close by for our daughter, who was in the wedding. Overall, this was a very pleasant visit. We will definitely be staying there again. I had even recommended it to an uncle, who also stayed that weekend. They were just as pleased. My parents stayed at the OMNI and wished they had booked with us.

The staff was friendly and it was close to the beach. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The hotel was clean and recently renovated. The continental breakfast offered a good selection of food and the breakfast room had a beautiful view of the bay. Overall, we had a good experience at this hotel.

The hotel was clean, the people friendly and it was easy to find. The only problem was the fact that the walls are paper thin. I heard everyone down the hall talking as well as every shower and commode flush (running water). So, maybe not a good place if you are a light sleeper, which I'm not.

Rooms could have been a littler cleaner, definitely had an odd smell. Not as updated as could be but okay for the price. We drove to aquarium because it was farther than indicated on website. Would probably stay on the island instead of downtown next time. Just okay for the .

The Best Western Grand Marina Hotel is a nice property in a great location. The hotel is a bit dated on the outside, but inside it was warm and comfortable. The elevator was very small, but, not that big of an issue - since I wasn't sleeping in the elevator - but it could be if someone has many bags to bring up to their room. The room was spacious and did come with a microwave and small refrigerator. The hotel offered nice views of the marina and is located very close to the club district downtown. The latter is a good and bad thing. Good in that you don't have to walk far, but bad in the late night noise when the bars close. There were some episodes of very loud noise. The room had a minor issue with a very slick/slippery bathroom floor; as if some liquid soap or something had been left on the floor. But this was quickly tended to by the staff. The only major issue with the hotel, and this is a result of it being older, is that the sliding door to the balcony did not seal very well. It was quite windy - very windy, actually - and the winds created a very loud humming and squealing noise. It was very loud. I ended up having to wedge paper between the doors to keep them from making that noise. That aside, I would highly recommend this facility.

Loved the big soft beds, the sink with the tub and toilet was liked the view in the breakfast room great. Workout equipment didn't work and the elevators are to small if you have a lot of luggage. We stayed in 3 rooms because there was 8 of us and everyone was very happy at how big the rooms and the beds were. Our friends stayed at the Holiday Inn up the road and on the beach and our rooms were better than theirs. They said they would stay where we did next time.

I booked this hotel for 1 day stay and we arrived little late to the hotel --- we were about to park my car in front lobby and was coming out and suddenly this weid thing happens -- someone throws beer from the top floor balcony and hides off I informed this incident to the hotel staff -- they noted down my issue -- and a scurity was sent -- but nothing happened. I will not suggest going to this hotel again with family. Also there was no parking space avaiable when i checked-in everything was occupied. The only thing i liked about this hotel was the breakfast room its view and the breakfast and the fronk desk guys were helpful. But i will never go to this hotel ....

When I first checked in and received my key and opened the door, the bed was unmade. I immediately called the front desk and since check in was at 3:00 and it was 2:00, I thought maybe I had checked in before the room was complete. The lady at the front desk apologized immediately and told me to come down and pick up another key. I told her that I liked the scenery and if she could give me another room with the same view. She then said let me see what I can do. I picked up the key and she told me that they had mistakenly turned the numbers around to the room. The room was very comfortable, very clean and a great view looking over the ocean. I liked the idea of each room having a private balcony and also the vanity being seperate from the bathroom.

This hotel is absolutely fabulous. We had a wonderful stay. The rooms are exceptionally clean, and the beds are really comfy. The staff is very friendly and courteous. We were also happy, because this hotel allows pets, so we were able to bring our pet Chihuahua. There are not too many hotels in Corpus Christi, that allows pets, so we were lucky to find this one, a nice one at that. Each room has a balcony, with an amazing view of the marina. They also offer a fantastic continental breakfast. Best of all, it?s 100% non-smoking. In my opinion, I believe this hotel is much better than the Omni, or The Radisson, and less expensive. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a place to stay while they are visiting Corpus Christi.
