First time in this hotel, went with our hunch since we read positive reviews. We found the hotel in a nice location at the 9 Arr. Saint Georges metro station is right across the road. There are many patisseries at the area, great coffee house nearby, excellent Ethiopian restaurant up the street. Close to Pigalle neighborhood & walking distance from the Moulin Rouge. Galleries Lafayette are about 15 min. away & the Opera is not far too. Room was clean but small, although you don't need more than a clean room, sheets & hot water 24/7 for a good shower after a long day walking in cold Paris. It was located at the back of the hotel directed to a relatively small street, less traffic noise. The staff at the front desk was kind, efficient, helpful & spoke English.

Lovey Hotel, Fairly Good LocationWe had booked a double room, this was a mistake as the double rooms are the tiny rooms which were places around the back of the hotel with no views or natural light. We asked to be moved to a bigger room and was told that the bigger rooms were twin rooms, we went aong with this and was very pleased with the result. We had a lovely big room with twin beds next to eachother, front view over the front of the hotel with big floor length windows, this room also had a ath which the smaller room did not.Breakfast was not included in the price but I had forotten this and therefore we proceeded to have breakfast each morning which wasn't all that great (breakfast room however was a basement style delight) just continental breakfast, but what more do you need each morning - certainly not a massive full english to boat you up for the day.At the end of the stay when we checked out and recieved the bill including the 14euro each breakfast for the 3 days, most disapointed on the prce of this as we found so many little reasonably priced pattiseries when going sightseeing which would have halved the cost and more.

Staff was friendly, area not to good. The smallest rooms in the world (12x12 if that) we couldn't unpack since there was not enough space to put our luggage. The mattresse was extremely hard, like slepping on the floor. Bathrooms are clean but a funny smell that we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I will never stay there again.

Weekend break on the 22/23rd May 09 Ciaran & JeanArrived a little early and lady on reception [Mi Opey] offered us options on two rooms as we had asked for a quiet room. Picked a lovely room on the 6th floor on the rear of the hotel which was bright and quiet. Room was small but we expected this and did not spend much time there so this was fine. Bathroom great and bed fine. Room clean and tidy. I had to go on line to reprint boarding cards for return flights and another Lady [Ingred] was again very helpful. All in all a lovely hotel with great staff and a fine location for walking and accessing the metro. Great restaurent up the street [The Bistro Lorette] recommended by staff .

My mother and I stayed at the hotel for a week while visitng Paris. It is right next to the metro station which gave us easy and comfortable access to the entire city. Lots of little Cafe's and restaurants just around the corner. Don't be scared to ask the staff... they were super nice....The rooms are not huge but just perfect for Paris and it was cozy and most importantly clean..... To us it was the perfect little place to stay for sightseeing, shopping and good eats in Paris!!!

A Real GemRecently renovated with nice modern look.Excellent location within 15 minutes walk of Opera and at foot of Montmarte. Added bonus is St Georges Metro stop 100 meters from front door. Some inexpensive but nice restaurants nearby.Room would be noisy with windows open.Only other complaint - screen over bath/shower too small so water splashes onto bathroom floor.

Great location with metro just down the street - could be at any of the major sights within 10-20 mins. Our room was small but perfectly adequate for a short intensive sightseeing trip. Please ask for a kettle and complimentary tea/coffee etc if you like your morning cuppa. Will definitely use again.

Really nice hotel. Lovely decor throughout, rooms were comfortable and decorated to a high standard. Great location, metro station only a moments walk.

Great location. Room was quite small but I think they all are. Cannot comment too much as it was only a quick overnight stay (arrived about midnight, left at 7am). Was not disappointed.

Great hotel in good location literally 50 metres from Metro station and less than 10 minute walk to Moulin Rouge. Only disappointment was the compact size of the room but don't let this stop you making a booking as you'll probably be out most of the time checking out the sights.

Very handy location near metro stops; easy walk to Montmartre and lots of nice cafes/restaurants, so went out for breakfast. Bedroom and public areas well decorated and very clean. Some traffic noise, though windows quite effective, but you are in a city! Staff very helpful and efficient. Wish we had time to stay longer than one night.Your program has forced me to rate the food above, but we did not actually eat in the hotel.

We had two rooms. Both were very clean and well appointed. One was bigger and brighter than the other, but the latter quieter. However, both were very good. Great location.

This is a great hotel in Paris. If you want a bit of 'boutique' at supermarket prices this is where you need to stay. Just very pleasant surroundings and a nice place to be. The metro is a 30 metre walk across the street and Pigalle is at the top of the street so you're not far from the fun but far enough for it to nice and quiet. The Rue Des Abbesses is a 10 minute walk up the street and there are some great bars and resto's there. The Rue St Lorette De L'Opera is a small street so there isnt a major traffic issue. I come to Paris for work and I find the facilities like wifi, etc are all in place. The bathrooms are lovely and everythng is clean and great. cant knock it. Trust me, I'm difficult to please and this place impresses me. Have fun.

The hotel is good and I would go there again. Something to be aware of is that it is on the margins of the Pigalle, the red light district. You don't need to pass through that area but be awarae that if you turn right out of the hotel instead of left, that's where you will end up. leaving that to one side this was really good value for Paris and I found it none to difficult to get to. I also walked from here to places like Le Louvre - though it is quite a hike (a pleasant one if you like walking).

Great location between Opera and Monmatre, you can walk to the Moulin Rouge and enjoy the nightlife in Pigalle. The guide books warn you off this area but we had great fun in the bars and cafes and it didn't feel unsafe at all. The hotel is really clean and modern and right next to the St Georges metro so getting to all the main sites was easy. Cafe Richard nearby does a good breakfast too.
