Very clean and upscale.

It was a wonderful stay!!!!!!!!! Everything was perfect and this hotel is at least a 3 star. With a little updating to the interior it could easily be a 4 star style hotel. I normally stay in at least a 4 star and was very pleasantly surprised! The real wood burning large fireplace with the burlap wood wrap bags was so easy to use and made it very warm and cozy! The room was large with vaulted ceilings, had real plants and a nice balcony and robes to boot! Nice linen but not the luxury resort quality, but quite nice and comfy and soft. By udating I mean the bathroom was tile instead of granite (nice tahoe/napa style and in great condition), oak furtiure, but nice solid wood oak --- very much like a studio apartmet feel. The view and the pool area was fantastic with beautiful flowers and blooming lavender even in December! There was a fireplace by the pool and a large covered sauna. Although when we walked to the other side of the complex the view didn't look like the garden was anywhere near as nice as the poolside court yard - still nice and it was Decemeber afterall, but just not as pretty as the poolside. Glad we got the courtyard pool side ;) The staff was fantastic too! And my last comment is how nice of a touch the Christmas tree was. We entered our room and there was a christmas tree in the room all lit up. Fantastic extra touch! The experience was like a studio apartment in Tahoe or Napa. Loved our stay and will be sure to stay again on our next visit! Thank you!

We were warmly greeted by a very friendly front desk along with hot spiced cider and freshly baked cookies. The rooms were very clean and had many 'extras', such as fresh plants in the hallways and rooms, upgraded toiletries, wet bar with refrigerator and microwave (on request, no extra charge), and a balcony overlooking a leg of the golf course. The breakfast is an extended continental with pastries, breads, cereals, oatmeal, fruit, coffee, tea, juice. There was also hard-boiled eggs, cheese cubes and make your own waffles. I would definitely recommend the hotel. However, now that I know my way around the town a little better I might book a less expensive room and try some of the local restaurants for breakfast.

We were so pleasantly surprised with Best Western Half Moon Bay. The rooms were lovely, the staff was the best ever, the breakfast was perfect for family, the owner provided us with notebooks he made himself of things to do and see in the area that were extremely helpful...I can't say enough about this wonderful place!

Landscaping, cleanliness, staff, location, this is the best, Best Western I've stayed in. I didn't have a chance to spend a couple of more evenings. Perfect!Beautiful, clean, wonderful staff, excellent rooms which included a little patio. The flowers were outstanding. Don't change a thing I hope to return there in the future.

Staff was very friendly. Kid friendly too. When checking in, they offered us robes, buckets and shovels for the kids. The bathroom door practically hits the toilet when you open it. Kind of annoying if you have more then one person staying in the room. Really pleased. This is one of the nicest best Western's we have stayed at. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. Nice for a family of 4. Staff was friendly and very accommodating.

Quiet attractive rooms, nice outdoor area and jacuzzi with pool. I was traveling by bicycle down the coast of California and found this hotel respectful of bicylists and a quiet place to spend the evening. Also close to restaurants. It really was a very nice place.

Very clean, nice lobby and room, beautiful grounds and architecture. Continental breakfast, too many sugary items. Could use more quality protein. Eggs slightly stale; sugary yogurt. Very pleased. Hotel has apparently been extensively remodeled as of May 2008. Our room was tastefully appointed, roomy, with nice furnishings. Grounds and room were lovely, excellent experience with staff. Nice location, safe neighborhood. The continental breakfast was good; though more quality protein could have been provided. (This is a common problem.) If you're a diabetic or have hypoglycemia, plan accordingly. Overall, positive experience, and I'd stay there again.

Nice setting, off the main road, clean and friendly. Everything was great. Great find off the main road. Right next to Joe's diner, short drive from shopping district and many restaurants. Short drive to other major resorts, Ritz Carlton conf center, etc. Good location for small convention or conference. Close to San Francisco, Stanford University, silicon valley and entire SF bay area. Not far from SFO airport. Typical coastal weather, foggy mornings, cool and breezy. Very enjoyable stay, so I'll be back.

I love the warm, home feeling of this hotel. This is a great place for a family to stay! We had a very roomy 2 bed room with a sitting area, room for luggage, and a wonderful little balcony to sit and enjoy the evening. The pool area also has a outdoor fireplace and is a very quaint area to be. It was close to a coastal access to drive over to a parking area and walk down to the coast. This was an excellent start to our drive down the coast!

Great location, large rooms, stunning gardens. Lovely architecture. I felt the front office staff could have been friendlier. Clean, lovely, Spanish style rooms with plenty of space. Gorgeous gardens and a wonderful continental breakfast make this hotel a place I will stay again.

View from room, bed was comfortable, and amenities were good. Wireless connection wasn't working; check-in was delayed by 1 hour. For the amount of money I was paying for this room, I expected more. The room was nice and comfortable, but beginning to show signs of wear and tear. The wireless connection wasn't working for my stay which was a problem.

Room was very tidy. Staff very accommodating, felt safe in room and parking area. The mattresses in our room were extremely uncomfortable. We could touch individual springs. And they almost creaked! We only stayed one night. Outside of the extremely bad mattresses it was a good stay overall.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating, and everything was there that we needed. There was nothing negative. Very nice, quiet and private. The room was upscale and provided little extras like robes for the pool, refrigerator, complimentary water and continental breakfast. I would most definitely stay at this Best Western in the future.

Great location south of town on Highway. One close to the public trail at the Ritz Hotel. Nothing. It was a pleasant surprise! Very nice hotel, great rooms and very nice breakfast buffet with a great waffle machine to make fresh waffles! Lovely patio area overlooking a golf course, and right next to the Ritz and public walking trails to a lovely beach area. Just outside of town in a quiet area.

Beautiful hotel. Nice location, clean & comfortable. Not a thing. This is an upscale best western. Beautiful grounds. Everything is clean and well kept up. Good location on the outskirts of hob. I would highly recommend it.
