Beautiful relaxing atmosphere located just two blocks from shopping, restaurants on famous Palm Canyon Drive. Beautiful views of the San Jacinto Mountains. Rooms are spacious, clean with flat screen TV's and free wireless internet. Comes with continental breakfast and in room refrigerator all at an unbeatable price for a great location. Family friendly. Great place for all ages! Highly recommend!

My husband and I enjoyed the convenient downtown Palm Springs location. It's close to everything if you are vacationing or have business in the immediate downtown area. The Palm Springs Film Festival was in full swing and the hotel is within walking distance to most of the theaters.I agree with another reviewer regarding how quiet it is being so close to many noisy bars. We had a poolside room in Building B, so I imagine that was the reason it was quieter than perhaps a third floor room facing the main drive. Also, the pool was about 4 steps away from our door through a gate.We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

the hotel was badly in need of a remodel and it's beautiful! It was getting quite shabby - we've been coming for years. The bedding was fabulous, the rooms beautiful and the grounds as breathtaking as always. The only thing in need ot repair are the misters by the pool. Some just drip instead of provide a soothing mist.

The hotel is lovely from the outside, as it looks like a mediterranean resort. The breezeways and pool area are all well maintained. There is a pool-side bar which adds some "resort" ambiance. Also, the staff were all exceptionally pleasant and helpful. If you're not planning on spending much time in the room, then you can't beat the price and location (only 1 block from the main downtown area). As we travelled during the summer (when it's VERY hot), we often sought respite in the air-conditioned room. I found the room cramped for a family of 3. There was little room to store a suitcase, and even less room on the bathroom counter for personal items. The breakfast is average, but you do get a choice of waffle or omelet, in addition to cereals and bread items.

From the time I checked in, the staff was incredibly friendly. The room was clean and more than comfortable. Received friendly, personalized service. Bed was extremely comfortable. Perfect stay. Will stay there upon my return to the area.

I travel constantly for work and decided to book the Las Brisas based on price and location. I compared several upscale hotels including the Hilton as I am a Gold Honors member there but for the money, this place is simply hard to beat. If you require being pampered in luxury, don't stay here. If you want to pay for all the extras such as breakfast and Internet access, this ain't the place for you! Stayed in Building A, 3rd floor with great view of the Mountains. The hotel is located just off the strip near LA PLAZA but I assure you, you can throw a stone at it. I have never written a hotel review before until now. This place was excellently managed and the property is a large amount of character including Spanish architecture with several nooks and fountains. The pool bartender was great to talk to and very helpful. The prices are extremely reasonable (its off season here though) for food and drinks. There are large pool towels are available from the front desk (very friendly staff) and was NOT treated like a second class citizen because I booked via an online travel site. In fact, I was upgrade for free. My room was large and adequately decorated, clean and included a computer table with coffee maker, another table with chairs and a king size bed that was very comfortable. The wireless access worked flawlessly and my signal and speed were great! It was quiet, clean and comfortable and beautifully landscaped. Stay here versus the large ?cookie cutter? brand names that nickel and dime you. P.S The tram ride up the mountain was an awesome experience! It's well worth the *.

Great location and great dining options within a short walk

Beautiful fuschia Bougainvillea draped over arches, lovely fountains. The hotel is modest but very nice and had all we needed. The room seemed recently redone and the grass paper on the walls was a nice touch. Although our room faced the street, it was not noisy. The pool is not very large, but was never crowded and had a large number of comfortable lounge chairs around it. Breakfast was good and it was convenient to have it right on site. Our favorite spot for breakfast was the outdoor courtyard with fountain and umbrella-shaded tables. The staff offered good suggestions when we asked about dining options. We were traveling with a 1-year old infant and the hotel was able to accommodate early check-in in a first floor room that offered parking right in front of our room which made loading and unloading much easier. They also provided a crib and a 30-minute later than normal check-out. We would definitely return on a future trip. It was very mice and a good value.

Front Desk was not very helpful in acknowledging that a 52 min phone call to Australia (of all places - I would not even know how to place a call here) was obviously not made by anyone in my family (we were at dinner w/cc receipt the very time the phone charge was noted). Hopefully, Best Western will intercede and make things right. Otherwise, our hotel stay was adequate.

This motel is located within easy walking distance of downtown Palm Springs, a variety of restaurants and the Casino. It's a great town to walk in so that is a major asset. The room I had was very dark. It was kind of depressing. The property was very crowded and noisy. The pool is nice enough but overcrowded with it being difficult to find a chair or chaise lounge. This motel would have been superb if it was spread out over another acre. As it is, it feels cramped and is overpriced for what is provided.

We loved the location especially. The hotel was very close to the central downtown area of Palm Springs and easy walking distance to the VillageFest. Found a very large (2-3 inch long) beetle thing (cockroach?) in the shower and that was somewhat upsetting. Hotel is well located within a block or two of the main downtown street of Palm Springs. Breakfast was included, which was a nice touch. The swimming pool area looked very attractive and inviting. We really enjoyed the location and being able to walk over to the VillageFest (street fair) the night we were there.

My husband and I enjoyed the mission style hotel and it's laid back environment, lots of shade, fountains,places to sit and read and drink a cup of coffee, oh and don't forget the inviting pool. It was a little oasis in the sun. Very Cute It was safe and very close to downtown.

Location and room design. We liked everything. We thought the location couldn't be beat. There were water features everywhere, which we love. The staff was awesome. It felt like they really cared whether or not we had a great stay. The bed was so comfortable. The design in the room was great; modern, but comfortable. Loved the Wi-Fi. Great flat screen!

Room was very nice, and very clean. Good location for someone who doesn't have a vehicle at the hotel, was able to walk to nice nearby restaurants. Would stay there again.

Hotel offered enough amenities to enjoy weekend without leaving and walking distance to downtown spots. Thin walls and pricy on demand TV. This hotel was perfect for a short getaway, providing the convenience of a complimentary breakfast, an on site grille, bar and internet access.

I like staying there because its close to shopping and dining. No need for a car. Hardly any young kids and its great to relax and have a drinks by the pool. The staff is great! Very clean and it looks like they have updated including a flat screen TV in our room. I can't wait to go back!
