On check-in my reservation was wrong. The girl working the counter couldn't fix it and it took two more days. The night that it was fixed I walked over to the gas station to have the night clerk lock me out and tell me that I wasn't supposed to be there, then lecture me on the importance of checking out on time, it was 11:45p.m. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned, whoever brushed there teeth last left remains and should be checked for genervites, there was mold growing on the shower curtin, and there were pubic hairs on the tolet. The pillows were stained and there was a greasy hand print on the wall. The high speed internet was about as fast as dial up.

It was close to the highway. They told us they had a pool, but failed to tell us the pool was not filled with water. I stay at your chain most of the time when I travel and was very disappointed with the room. the room had a musty order until we put the air on and then it got so cold we had to use extra blankets.

I would stay again. Really Nice!

Normal business hotel. Room faced interstate - a bit noisy
Date of Stay:

Beat my expectations. The noise. My only issues were that the bed felt like concrete and the room heater sounded like it needed an overhaul. The room did smell of smoke even though it was non-smoking and the outside noise was loud do to location.

We stayed here after trying another hotel in town. The desk clerk was able to find us a room near a door, a real plus as I have an injured knee. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. I would stay again.

The Best Western hotel room wasn't bad at all. The staff there was pretty good and helpful. My problem with it was that when we walked in the room and looked around, it was not very clean. The jacuzzi was not cleaned very well. I had to clean it myself to be able to use it. I enjoyed the way the room was and the use of it, it was cozy. I just wish it was alot more cleaner. Other than that, it was ok. It was not worth the price that I paid for the room. This hotel was convience for us because it was close to a lot of the places we vistied in that city.

I liked the room's cleanliness and it was quiet for a weekend stay. I would recommend it to friends. I was not that impressed with the breakfast and I had to switch rooms because I added another day and it was not the equivalent of the room I had.

The hotel itself was clean though outdated. The staff is great. the free Breakfast was , well, OK. We were supposed to have a no smoking room but it HAD been smoked in! So if that bothers you then beware. Otherwise it was OK.

The BW in Terra Haute was disappointing. The hotel did not smell fresh and the bathtub/shower was somewhat rusty and not clean in appearance. The staff was considerate regarding a dress that we left behind which they held for us on our drive back through Terra Haute though we did not stay the night. The location was convenient off the highway.

Manager and staff pleasant. Evening food and beverages good. Cookies were great. Had even been decorated for Valentine's Day. Refrigerator had been unplugged. When plugged in it was very noisy. Stop here whenever we go to State College, PA. Usually good place to stay. Do have problems with noisy refrigerators.

This hotel is in desperate need of repair. Upon check in noticed that the ice maker machine cover was laying in the hallway and there was pieces of food and puddles of water in the vending area as the machine was under repair. In the room someone must have tried to break in or out of the window and in below zero weather there was a 2 inch gap where it would not close and had to stuff the curtains in the gap. The bed had springs coming through. Tried to use the ice machine on the 2nd floor & it also was out of order. Asked front desk about it and was told no one showed up to fix it. By the next day the carpet in the hall on main floor was soaked from problem with ice maker. The dining area was ice cold the next day and no one could even stand to eat in there as the main automatic door stays open & lets cold air into dining area. Food was sparse & dried out. The only good thing about the stay was Samie at the front desk who desperately tries to help guests but was unable to get approval from mgmt even to go by some bags of ice for guests.

The Best Western Terre Haute was comfortable and located right next to numerous restaurants and other shops. The room contained a coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, iron and hair dryer; however, on our second visit, even though we stayed on a non-smoking floor, the smell of cigarettes seemed to come from the air conditioner vents. Outside the bathroom was an additional vanity area which was helpful. The price includes a breakfast with eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, toast, cereal, and waffles one can make to order. Fruit is available, however, it was still frozen when served. Orange juice, coffee and tea are provided. Check-out time is too early at 11:00, however, upon request, a late check-out time is provided. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is outdoors and the fitness room is small. We would definitely stay there again with kids.

It was quiet, no street noise or noises form other rooms. Breakfast, they had powdered eggs. Overall I had a pleasant stay. I travel with a group of teen bible quizzers and usually have to stay in cheaper hotels, this was a very nice change of pace for the money I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the facility was. A little mold in the grouting in the bathtub, but other than that very clean. Plenty of hot water clean towels for everybody; we usually have to ask for more towels.

Great hotel for the money and the full breakfast included was super. Nice outdoor pools which the boys really enjoyed. And free snacks in the evening? Wonderful! Definitely would stay here again!

This was just an older hotel that was showing sings of wear and tear and age. should have cost a lot less.

Nothing. Broken heater in the room, no hot water, reeked of smoke, and then there is the down side with the loud hotel noise and inability to breathe and sleep in a warm room.

"Hotel looked new & remodeled. Traveling for business, I decided to try the Best Western. The staff gave me a warm welcome & offered me a free bottle of water. As I checked in they had a great happy hour including food & drinks again very nice staff. The food was plenty to feed a football team. The room & morning breakfest was extremly good. I think I would return again it was a great customer expierence & good value compared to the overated hotels across the way."
