For a downtown location, the price is pretty good. One of their front desk staff was extremely hostile, rude, and 100% unhelpful - I felt unsafe approaching him with questions. When asked how he was, he replied angrily "I'd rather be sleeping!" while staring at me with malice. I made the general manager aware of the situation, and they were very accommodating and apologetic. I was carrying something very fragile that needed to be refrigerated, and the restaurant had no problem storing it for me without damage. The parking was not what I expected - $10 a day. The rest of the amenities and room were what I expected for the star level. Next time I'm in town for the same event, I will probably stay here for the convenient location, provided that front desk employee is not there anymore.

Our reservation designated a non-smoking room, and when we arrived none were available. They were able to move us on the next day, but the HVAC system still seemed to be putting the smell of smoke in the room. All rooms were heavily perfumed, masking something or other, Desk staff was generally surly throughout the stay - not a good first impression, and one that was not changed throughout the four days. Rooms had no internet access, just a sharable computer on the third floor, of twelve. Bath towels were small and thin.

The Best Western Inn Towne Hotel in downtown Milwaukee is perfectly located to everything you could want or need. I can't stress the location more, it is right in the center of downtown. The Inn Towne is walking distance to all the Centers, Old Town, and even to the Third Ward. The room was very comfortable and satisfactory. The staff was efficient and helpful.

The lounge staff were amazing! The sinks tended to clog. We were originally only supposed to be there for 2 nights but weather had us going a day early, for a total of 3 nights. The first night was in a king room and it was huge. The room was clean and fresh. We ended up moving to a queen room for the next 2 nights and it was a lot smaller than we expected. The heater was a little tricky in the second room. Overall it was a good experience with a few quirks expected out of an older building. Hotel staff was amazing! 5 stars for the people that helped us find cabs and directions and for letting we stay in the lounge to watch the Oscars!

I've stayed here 3 times so far, the last Sept 3rd 2008. The place is clean with fiendly service and the bed is comfortable. Check-in and out is always fast and accurate.The location is outstanding. The bus pickup to Miller park is only 1/2 block away and costs $ ea. way. Bradley center is only 4 blocks away abd there are restaurants and cocktal lounges up and down the whole street. On Wisconsin Ave within 1-4 blocks of hotel is shopping and wonderful restaurants: Mo's Irish Pub and Eatery, Miller Pub at the Hilton, Rock Bottom and Hawk's Pub on the river and many more. Not to be missed: Art museum on the Lake, Harley Davidson museum on Canal and 6th. I'll stay here often again. TI don't know how they came up with the 2.5 stars because this is at least a 3 star.

First time they gave us a smoking room, then they changed to a non smoking room, but it was still some smell from smoke.The location was very good.

We stayed there during the 105th H-D Rally and the hotel was great! Everyone was pleasant, very nice, accommodating. Unfortunately, when we checked out, I left acticles of clothing in the dresser drawer. I called as soon as we returned home. However nothing was turned in by the housekeeping staff. Knowing I never even open those drawers at all to clean them out, my error, the personel I spoke with at that time, said to call back and speak to the GM & head of housekeeping. I have never recieved a call back from either, I have even emailed the GM. It was my mistake for leaving the clothing behind but the housekeeping staff, if having done their job correctly, would have turned my clothing in to the lost & found and returned to them to me. To date, I've had no response from anyone in the hotel at all. However, as I said, my fault for leaving things behind, theirs for theft. But, will stay there again. great location..will just double check, and double check again to make sure I have all my things. First time this has ever happend that I have left anything behind and not gotten it back, lesson learned.

I was pleased to stay at this Best Western Inn Towne Hotel in downtown Milwaukee. There is a lot to do and see in the immediate area within walking distance. The Milwaukee River riverwalk adds a lot to the area.

Close to the attractions we wanted to visit. Smaller sized rooms. Excellent location for taking in a Milwaukee Bucks game or visiting the Milwaukee museum. We were 3-5 blocks within walking distance of either destination which was our over all plan. Hotel is older but has a lot of character. Room was clean and very quiet considering we were right off of a busy street. I would return to this hotel for a future weekend in Milwaukee!

This hotel is not fancy, but it gets the job done. The room was clean and bright. We did have some plumbing issues that were cleared up quickly. Centrally located to all the attractions that we were there to see.

The location is excellent. Mall is right outside your entrance and many dining options. Very close to Miller Park and easy to get there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a little small but very clean and comfortable. Overall, excellent and affordable! We will be using this hotel when we return to Milwaukee.

Location was excellent for our performance at The Rave. Originally assigned to a room that had not been made up. 2nd try by the staff was a little more successfull. Downtown location is excellent. The hotel itself is nothing to impressive but I felt comfortable that I recieved what I paid for. The only issue was that our first room was not yet made up. Oops on their part.

The Best Western Inn in downtown Milwaukee was very clean and easy walking distance to the Riverwalk. Plus there was a mall across the street, and several small shops for browsing. The breakfast we ate in the cafe was fantastic, and service was excellant. Very surprised on how spacious the room was. We definately plan on coming back here next time we come to the Cubs game. Oh, and the bed was one of the best to sleep in, I felt like I was at home here.

The Best Western was about what you pay for. Rooms are basic, hotel is somewhat older. We just stayed there one night for a few hours to sleep, so it really didn't matter too much to us. Great location though!

The location was great, close to dining, bars, entertainment, etc. There was not a working soda machine! The hotel was clean, but the room was very, very, small. The staff was friendly. The location was great. There were no working pop machines and as I am not a coffee drinker, this was very disappointing to me.
