Date of Stay: June, 2009

Although the location was convienent to the I-40, the town of Grants seemed a bit shady. The hotel room itself was clean and comfortable, with very fast wireless internet. The on-site bar called "Rookies" was a great place to go for a few drinks after a long road-trip... and in my opinion was the shining star of the whole place. I just wished they didn't close at 10:30 on weekdays. My biggest complaint is that it was not a 100% non-smoking hotel... so the hallways reek of cigarette-smoke as you walk to your non-smoking room. Their "fitness center" was only slightly better than other hotels (which usually call one cheap treadmill and eliptical machine a fitness center) in that there was a few weight-machines there... nice but nothing amazing. I didn't get a chance to try the hotel's pool or complimentary breakfast, but the Subway nearby was immaculate. All and all, I should have probably just driven a bit further into Albuquerque and stayed at a newer (but more pricey) hotel.

Older hotel. Our room was large and comfortable for us and two young children. Front desk staff was very nice and accommodating. Very good buffet breakfast included with room. Dining room staff very attentive. We booked the hotel because of the indoor pool, but it was being serviced and not available during our stay.

We had issues when we checked into the hotel and the front desk staff gave us our first excellent impression by handling our problems in a polite and professional manner. We were impressed by the freindliness and smiles we received at every turn - we truly felt like welcome guests. The room was clean and fairly comfortable, although the mattress probably needed to be replaced. It was a bit lopsided, but still quite comfortable. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.

Nice rooms, in the new part. Did not like the bathroom. You could tell it was remodeled. They did not do a very good job with it either. Other than that, for the price it was a good quality hotel.

Room was clean and well laid out. Included full hot breakfast was great. Over all the place is past its prime. Carpet in hall needs replacement. Pool, hot tub, and sauna were all down for repair. The game room was completely empty. The overall area is down, closed restaurants, and stores, etc.

Very large room. Adequate beds. Good desk and lighting. Good to have two sinks, one in bathroom and one outside of it. No refrigerator.

The best thing about this hotel is the very nice indoor pool/spa and the $ kids meals in the on-site restaurant. It's clean enough and the beds are comfortable enough. The food in the restaurant was OK. The rooms weren't very quiet, but the staff was very good to do what they could to fix the problem.

This was a quiet room even though the hotel is on a major highway. An extra large room with soft pillows, comfortable bed, but no mini fridge. The breakfast was an average to good hot buffet. The only negative was a bad showerhead.

Front desk staffand housekeeping. Rooms were dingy and some repairs needed to be done in the bathroom. The bathroom was not cleaned any day (hair in the shower). Overall a cheap place to stay.

"We got in after driving from Dallas. Requested a first story room. Even though the hotel was practically empty, they would not give us a first floor room, so we schlepped our suitcases up the stairs and down a long hallway. No elevator, inconvienent parking, lousy security-- door to outside was propped open late at night. Never will stay there again."

Very comfortable. Need to replace the halls and back enters carpet. It appears that this hotel was a Holiday Inn at one time. It had the appearance of a Holidome. It included hot breakfast. It was ok.

This place is not new but our room was very large and very clean. The bathroom was very clean. Stay was comfortable and quiet. Great room for a great price.

Excellent breakfast buffet. Nothing. The accommodations were excellent far above the price. The room was very adequate. The free full breakfast located in the hotel restaurant offered several choices. The pool was clean and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful. A daily New Mexico newspaper and afternoon cookies and fruit were available.

Facilities were good. Clean and location accommodated. Our one night stay was very well. NA. This hotel met our needs and was clean. The location allowed us to stop, stay, and hit the road as was our need.

The breakfast was good, they were very busy and still did a good job. There was only enough hot water for one shower and then it ran out. Called the front desk & they worked it but no hot water. The no hot water thing and the hot tub was only about half full of water and there was about eight children in the hot tub.
