I spent one night in the hotel and found it clean and comfortable. The location was great, just about 10-15 minutes to the Baseball Hall of Fame and many of the wonderful shops and restaurants of beautiful Cooperstown/

after we checked in, we tried to get the advertised internet service and were totally flabbergasted at the rude behavior of the hotel clerks and even calling the isp. no one on staff there seems to know anything and treated us in the most roughshod manner possible. we found another hotel quickly and checked out within a few hours without using anything in the room. we feel grateful that we escaped from those characters.

The Best Western Inn at the Commons in Cooperstown really was quite a delight....not only was the staff very friendly and engaging, but the room was spacious and very clean...the bed was the most comfortable bed, that I had ever slept in, in a hotel.....what a great nights sleep I had, even though I wasn't in my own bed...I definitely, look forward to staying there again next time I am visiting my son at college.

Lovely lobby with free coffee. Pleasant staff. Staff was not as helpful as I'd expect from a hotel of the price. This hotel is a newer hotel. It's situated next to a group of stores and a restaurant - which is helpful. The rooms were clean and pleasant. Rooms included a small refrigerator and a microwave. The hotel is a short drive from the Baseball Hall of Fame and we had a wonderful view of the mountains.

We found the hotel to be all that it was advertised. Even thought we did not have children with us, it was apparent that it would be a great place to travel with a family.

Nice front desk person, Pool is enclosed with jaccuzzi, work out area all sounds good. Pool closed at 2100 and opens @ 0830. Workout area is very small and not user friendly opened I believe @ 0900. No time for the traveler that wants to work out early. We had the king size bed so so on the comfort.The room was spacious enough no frills peeling wallpaper in bathroom. Did have extra outlets to charge cell phones etc. Fridge to keep thingd cool no freezer.If you don't need to get up early and rolling would be okay.

The staff was very friendly, they went out of their to make it a great stay. Nothing. The location was great for the Cooperstown was wonderful. The rate for the room was truly unbelievable.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. We had to wait until 3 to check in and the staff was not very friendly. I would stay there again.

Warm cookies from the night clerk. Hallways were too hot. Nice hotel - needs to be a better way to moderate the heat in the hallways and the rooms.

Festive lobby at holidays -warm & inviting. Hair in bathroom & terrible breakfast. Nice, fairly clean rooms. Really comfortable beds. Breakfast offering was horrible. Food in Tupperware containers for you to help yourself. In short, room was available at a good rate and except for a few stray hairs in bathroom, room was clean and quiet.

Good location for family travel. The rate. The hotel is representative of the 2 star rating but the "in season" rate is way out of line. It is possible that this rate is representative of Coopers town during the season, but it sure seems high to me. Perhaps this is the going rate to visit this beautiful part of New York.

Great value, internet, free breakfest, clean, close to attractions. Close to everything you want to see. Quiet location. Wireless internet was great, awesome breakfast, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
