Staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in and out fast. We even checked in an hour earlier. We needed extra pillows and the housekeeping staff brought them right away.

The breakfast and the pool. The lack of staff and extremely slow check in. Also room was run down. Overall not bad, the pool was big and deep, the continental breakfast was descent. Rooms were big but a little run down.

Front desk was very helpful in terms of info as to how to get around town. Rooms were decent and room service was just as good. Week-end prices were a little steep compared to weekdays. Would stay here again !!

Great staff, great breakfast!

we arrived sat. afternoon and had a quick check in.room was very clean. nice hot shower. rooms need a bit of updating but still very comfortable. my boys enjoyed the pool. location was convenient. subway restaurant is next door along with a convenience store. very nice staff and the breakfast was much more than your ordinary continental breakfast: we had homemade waffles, hot eggs, and biscuits and gravy. Also offered were 3 kinds of juices, different breads and pastries, cereal, and fruit. definitely will stay again and would recommend!

Good staff, clean room. Slight problem with room key, quickly resolved by front desk. Coming in very late, the front desk clerk was very helpful check-in. The hotel met all my expectations.

Very nice. The view (which is that of the freeway) is not the greatest. Very nice; would definitely stay here again.

I booked this room with Gold Crown points. If I had been driving by looking for a room, I would not have even pulled in and I wouldn't have taken the room if it weren't Thanksgiving night and the room free. It's the poorest BW I've stayed in..by far. Dark, crummy public areas and halls, creaky elevators, everything looks old and worn. The room followed suit plus added barely warm water, low pressure, and old-style sliding glass door which allowed traffic noise inside. It looked relatively clean until I turned back the spread and saw the dirty, brown blanket.

It was close to the freeway and to my friends work, close location. There was not enough lights. Especially when you enter the room. Everything at the hotel was good. Good location and close to a lot of shopping areas.

I found it annoying that a hotel of this quality would require a paid service for internet access. Everywhere int he world this is a service included in the price of the visit, but here there was a 9.99 PER DAY charge. This is outrageous, since internet access is free right down the street at Starbucks. Also, I limited my selection to those hotels with internet access and a continental breakfast. This hotel did not have the continental breakfast as stated in the sort categories. Very annoying.

Parts that were already remodeled were nice, like the carpet in the room. Remodel work in progress was an eyesore, inconvenient and dirty (hole in vending room where ice machine used to be).

Location was good for our purposed trip activities. For the price you would thing they could replace the toilet seat. The remodeled areas were nice but I was very upset to find a toilet seat stained and coming apart. I never said anything but it was so obvious it should have been replaced especially the minor expense and such sensitive/personal area

It was relatively quiet and the staff was friendly. The bathrooms.

Internet wasnot working, elevator wassmall, computer wasdown, roach in room. I was very disappointed. The elevator is half the size of most elevators making it claustrophobic and almost impossible to get luggage cart inside, there was a dead roach in my room, no hand lotion, small bathroom, room overlooked the Saigon Kitchen, the computer was down when I tried to check out and the clerk didn't even apologize when I told her how disappointed I was.

Nice place but a bit hard to find due to signs not visible from road.

The front desk clerk was extremely helpful and very accommodating. The first thing I did was check the hotel room restroom and there was a used Q- tip on the floor. The hotel location was great. However, the state of our hotel room was unacceptable. The two lamps on either side of the bed did not work. When I checked behind the bed to see if they were plugged in, the floor was filthy, dirty. When I checked the restroom after we first arrived there was a pill of some type and a used Q-tip on the floor. The bed we slept on was extremely uncomfortable; neither my fiance nor I got hardly any sleep do to our discomfort.

The service and the breakfast the hotel provided. There are water spots on the ceiling. The service and staff was good, the location from downtown Austin was approx. 10 minutes away. Several fast food restaurant next door to the hotel.

The hot breakfast was very good, well supplied, and at convenient hours. Limited parking near the door. Our family enjoyed our 2 night stay. The room was clean and spacious, but the bathroom a little cramped for assisting children. The staff was polite and efficient. The pool was cleaned about mid-morning. The hot breakfast was diverse, fresh, and well supplied at convenient hours. The hotel was undergoing renovations in its public areas. It was a nice hotel for the price located in the Austin area. I would choose this hotel again.

It was close to a lot of things. I really cant say nothing bad about this hotel. This is my second stay at this hotel it is real close to 6 street and highland mall I went for the Texas relays very comfortable.
Date of Stay:
March, 2008
Nothing. Rude staff, dirty hotel, not accommodating poor quality price was too much for poor quality. Do not recommend this hotel to anyone especially for the price. Stay at Hotel 6 or Super 8 you will get your money back there.
