This hotel is very well aganist black guests. They are not setup to deal with eveyday situations that occur. If and when there is a problem the manager never appears they send the asst manager or no one to deal with the issue, They do not mind taking black people's money but prefer that we were not around.

The purpose of my trip was to take a fall leaf viewing drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway. This hotel is located a few miles south of the Parkway and very convenient to access it. I made my way up the mountain early and watched the sunrise from atop Mount Pisgah.. It was just what I was looking for.

It was easy to locate. The breakfast was very good. The rooms had a bad odor, The bed linens stunk. We could hear sounds from other rooms. The hotel was OK for one night. The location was excellent. I would not want to stay there for more than one night.

The hotel smelled bad-the man that checked us in was scary and downright surly--he should not work with the public. Skip this hotel--don't even think about about it. It is old, smelly and poorly kept.

It was clean. I liked the lady who made the waffles. There was a strange spray smell in the air. Breakfast donuts were stale. This place was a good enough choice for somewhere for just a sleep over while going onto somewhere else. Management and staff were courteous.

Awesome breakfast! Older hotel. This is a nice, clean motel with friendly staff. It is older, but they seem to have upgraded some things. Our room was very clean. It is just off the interstate - good for travelers who need a stopping place. The breakfast includes yummy waffles made to order for you!

Staff was great, and completely clean. Breakfast ok. Great staff! Very friendly and responsive. The rooms are recently renovated and come with fridge, DVD, microwave, coffee maker, everything. Location, is perfect to get anywhere yet very quiet. Best bang for the buck I have seen in a long time.

Rooms were out dated, old bedding and style. The staff was very friendly, however the room was not very clean (trash behind dresser and under air conditioner. It was very outdated bedding and room decor.

All of the staff were great with one terrible exception. The person at the front desk on needs to be fired. Manager needs reprimanding. This is a nice motel, but the Quality Inn down the street is far superior. The person at the front desk was terrible. It was totally his error and the general manager was complicit in this injustice. I a.m. angry, and may pursue this matter in the courts.

It furnished iron/ironing board. Refrigerator and microwave in room. Curtains looked as if they had been stored in a box. Very wrinkled, molding over shower coming away from wall in several places.? Mold in shower. Roof over head. No extras or pampering. A little much for the total package.
