Great location, friendly associates. Front desk canceled the wrong reservation originally, however, next person fixed the issues. Overall, great place to stay. We had a partial view of the river and that was quite nice. As well as the breakfast. I only wish we had time to check out the pool!

We have enjoyed two visits to this hotel. Great rooms overlooking the river. Service was exceptional at the front desk! The beds were the best we have experienced in any motel/hotel in our travels. Clean, clean rooms, including a tub my wife took a bubble bath in because it was so clean. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi! Their breakfast setup was terrific with good food and variety. WiFi worked great which is important to us!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was not expected but very nice to have. Would return to this hotel

The service was excellent. Pool was cold. The hotel was great. Any need my family had the staff attend to immediately. The continental breakfast was tasty and there was a good variety of food.

We stayed in an oversized room. It was beautiful and very clean. Furniture, bedspread, view, bath, all was soooooooooooooo nice! We enjoyed the inside pool, very pretty atmosphere and the hot tub and sauna were nice too!! We are thinking about coming back for our 32 anniversary just to lay, around be lazy, relax and enjoy the pool and ammenities. we found the breakfast to be good and you can eat till 10. The walffles and omlets were quite tasty! The view from our room was stunning especially at night. There is also a shuttle service to the nearby new Three Rivers Casion. We highly recommend the inside lobby rooms and they will help you with your luggage. They are pet friendly

Best Western Pier Point nicely located with balcony view, somewhat small rooms but good for short stays.

The view of the Umpqua River bridge and Old Town Florence. No longer has a restaurant in the motel, room cramped. The view was wonderful of the Umpqua River bridge and Old Town Florence across the river. The heater in our room didn't work so they brought us a space heater which worked great since the room was a little cramped with 2 queen size beds anyway. The comforters had black hairs in them that did not belong to us. Parking is limited, someone double parked in front of our room, we reported it to the front desk but they didn't make them move, we had to park in front of the dumpster.

Stayed in an oversized room. It was Beautiful!!!! The staff was wonderful to us and they are pet friendly. We can not wait to go back and just may for our 32 Anniv. to relax and just hang out at the pool and many ammenities. The pool is indoor and decorated very pretty!! The breakfast was quite tasty and they have it till 10 for late risers like us who enjoy the nearby new Three Rivers Casino with live misic on the weekends. We come in about 2 am. The waffles and omlets were quite tasty. It really is a full breakfast, no need to go out unless you get up to late. Our room was an inside room down some stairs, but they offer help with your bags!!! Very nice. We reccommend this place and the view is gorgeous, especially at night as the lights dance on the water.

The staff was very accommodating. Our non-smoking room smelled like smoke. Our first room had a newly remodeled bathroom that was huge. The doors were old so it was loud when other people came in and out of their rooms. The breakfast was great and the lounge had a beautiful view of the river.

Was a little disappointed in the premises considering they charge top dollar per night. The breakfast was ok but the evening coffee and fresh hot cookies was very very good. Room was ok but they need to spend some more money to upgrade it completely. Location is excellent and view was excellent but other than that I would look at something else next time.

"Free Breakfast, only if you get it early. Can get anything not even a cup of coffee after 9am."

I liked the location to the dunes. The beds were very comfortable. The room was small. I would recommend this hotel for someone who is interested in going to the Dunes, which are just up the road. The staff was very nice. The room was small with the door opening right up next to the bed. The bathroom was newly remodeled and was nice.

"Our room was on the top floor, end. Room smelled musty. Floor actually was NOT level (sloped). Bathroom was granite and dark. The deck overlooking the river was punky and didn't feel safe. Wouldn't stay again."

Hotel was located on the river. I have no complaints whatsoever. Located on the suisaw river. This hotel is located at the front of town by a historic bridge and is in an excellent location. The staff of this hotel were very friendly and accommodating.

"room was on lower floor and stairs down to reach. Not good for seniors, however, staff took bags on arrival & leaving. Stayed five nights. A quite location, but noisy guests. A charge for safe was tacked on bill. On check in was told to initial. I didn't use the safe and they did take the charge off. This should have been explained upfront. Not having been to this city before, I didn't know where to stay."

Close to shops. Has only stairways to get to rooms, no elevators. The staff was helpful in getting a room for my parents, that they didn't have to climb stairs - as there were no elevators. Overall, the rooms were ok.

The restaurant view. Obstructed view from the room. Pier Point Inn is a great location near lots to do for the weekend. Located right across the Siuslaw river from old town Florence, with shops and dining. Make sure you get one of the rooms with a full view!
